hi, some improvements regarding the volume mixer are going into firefox 60 that's due for release net wednesday. you could check right now in the beta version if your issue is fixed: https://www.mozilla.org/beta

Thanks! The issue appears to be fixed in Firefox 60 beta, but let me test for a couple of days to make sure, I'll report back.

Even using my old profile, Firefox 60 beta is very snappy with pages loading quickly, much like Firefox of old...
