5 second delay for each letter typed in a google search 58.0.2 safe mode
Firefox 58.0.2 when used, even in safe mode, will not display a character typed into a google search for about 5 seconds. So I'm looking at waiting about 30 seconds to see a 6 letter word displayed. This has been happening in the last couple versions of Firefox. I'm using Windows 7. Never had any issues until you-all moved to this completely re-written browser. I've been using Firefox this side of forever.

Did you try to close and restart Firefox or reboot the computer?

Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.
