Firefox takes forever to load ads in some pages. In some cases only 1 or 2 ads are loaded. The third is never loaded. There is an animated dot in the tab, showing that the page is loading. The ads are loaded almost instantly in Chrome.

Firefox v57.0.4

privacy.trackingprotection.enabled= false

I have AdBlock Plus but it is disabled.

Internet speed: 100Mbps

Win7 64bit

Hi there unlike Adblock Plus Ublock Origin has a whitelist button when you click the add-on icon in your toolbar (it is the big power button) get it here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.

Are you using Private Browsing mode since you mention Tracking Protection that is ony active in PB mode?

I get these errors related to AdSense. But it doesn't tell why it failed to load the script.

Someone suggested that Google Youtube does not play nice with Google Ads: https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/AdWords-Account-Issues/http-static-doubleclick-net-instream-ad-status-js/m-p/492614#M1639

So, I deleted almost EVERYTHING from he page. I kept only the minimum minimum (head, body, a piece of text and one GoogleAd)! The ad still won't load.

Solution:

It is a bug in AdBlock Plus not in Firefox!!! I disabled AdBlock Plus for my web site but it was still blocking the ads. Once I disable the entire addon, the ads appeared instantly.

Thanks cor-el. Your hint helped me identify the bug.
