Cannot restore Volume Control Icon on my Task Bar. Solutions suggested will not work.
My Volume BEHAVIOR button has turned itself OFF and it will not give me the option to turn it back on which is part of the "process" to return the icon to my Task Bar. Why??? My Mozilla updated itself the other day, and now this.... I followed the suggested steps/instructions given, beginning with a right click on the task bar to choose properties, etc....but when I advance to the drop down menu under the volume option the commands will not highlight in order to let me complete the command. Please help.

You will only see this icon when sounds is playing on the tab. Otherwise you can check the right-click context menu (Mute Tab).
You can check that this pref is true on the about:config page to enable this icon.
- browser.tabs.showAudioPlayingIcon = true
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
Modified
From a Dos Command Prompt Right Click it and Run as Administrator Type SFC /SCANNOW = SFC<space>SCANNOW To fix registry issues. Any Found Reboot.
