how do I look at my bookmarks?

There used to be a toolbar with a bookmarks icon on it. That has been taken away now, and I have no idea how to access my bookmarks. Can anyone tell me please?

Hmm, sorry, I read that too fast. There normally is a pair of bookmark icons: star on the left to bookmark the current page, and an icon that looks like a clipboard to the right of it to drop down the bookmarks menu. If that icon is missing from the main toolbar, you can try this:

(1) Did it overflow? If there are too many icons on the main toolbar, a new >> button will appear to show the overflow.

(2) Did it move to another bar, or completely slip off the toolbars? You can use the Customize feature to look for it. This article will get you into the Customize tab: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If you do not see it anywhere, you can use the "Restore Defaults" button at the bottom of the Customize tab to set the toolbars back to their starting layout, then customize from there.

To turn different bars on and off, you can use one of these methods to show the toolbar list and select the desired bars there:

To turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar, Menu Bar, or other bars, click it on the list.
