Is it true you are going to ditch your users with firefox 57?
I just heard that in November 2017 the extensions system will be ditched in favour of the far less capable 'webextensions'.
The user base will leave.
That includes me.
The extensions system is what makes Firefox customisable, without it, I would have no need for Firefox.
Is Mozilla trying to commit suicide?

Hi
It is true that Firefox will be transitioning across to a different add-on approach, but not necessarily accurate to suggest that the user base will leave. I recommend that you have a read of this recent blog post on the subject.
From said blog "To be frank, why haven't you already switched to another browser?"
So, you're pointing me to a blog that basically tells people to p*** off to another browser, says it all. Moz is not interested in keeping users or being more customizable and just wants to be chrome.
The reason people use chrome is not because it's better, it's because they get told it's better and faster by google who offers a link to it when they search.
