Address bar search autocomplete is showing Icons and page Titles instead of web addresses! Really hard for eyes

(first of all it took me 20min to try to log in reset password to this forum as despite resetting the forgoten password twice and the page inviting me to log in as everything was successful I COULD NOT LOG IN. It doessn't say about any need of waiting so I guess it should tak an immediate effect but no, I had to create new account with new email!)

Second and main topic as per my title:

WHY has Mozilla changed the behaviour of the autosuggest search in the url top address bar. I used to search for bits of address or part of title and see instantly the URLs to chose from within a milisecond.

Now, for some bizarre reason someone smart desided to break something that worked just fine and now I can see first the icon (which as you know not all websites use and is not really obvious) then the content of the TITLE tags of the web pages. We are all fully aware that in title tags people put all kind of long rubbish or product description for SEO purposes that doesn't help identify the page. My question is how to change this back to normal suggested URL list instead of long messy for eyes string of website titles and then urls. I am not sure if you UX people went on holiday but the decision can't be based on user experience feedback.

Some random quick screenshots attached. First example searching for 'goo' brins me names of Used Cars etc as this is what the company put in the title. So your eyes are jumping through the list looking for website addresses to make sure I am picking the right one as they are not verticlaly ligned up.

Developers do what developers do best, they change stuff because they can.

Check out this UserStyle to "fix" all that the developers have messed up with the Location bar over the past few versions. https://userstyles.org/styles/122394/url-bar-tweaks-remove-visit-search-limit-width 12 different configuration options in the right-hand column of that page. See the notes for an explanation of what those options do.

Do developers have any platform of communication with users to base their changes on user experience or are they testing user experience at all?

Thy plugin is great (thanks for that) but remembering now to do that on every computer and on the occasion of every update is offputting.

On Chrome thnings look Ok I can see so there you go Mozilla.

I think that the most obnoxious change to the Location Bar drop-down (so damn wide) is going to be backed-out in Firefox 50. But for now we're stuck with it and need to fix it our self.
