How can i get into internet options through firefox 44.0

I think you may be asking about Windows options, possibly on Internet Explorer. I am not even using Windows but see

Also for instance your search engine may have settings. I sometimes usse Google, and that has for instance a safe search option

Hi thanks for your replay

Actually i am looking to get the internet options menu through the firefox for change the internet security to Medium. I am looking for selecting the internet options through the fire fox options. Is it possible in 44.0 version?? In other version it can be accessible through the options, but in the latest version is it possible?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure you can't get in via Firefox. What you are looking is a Windows application not Firefox. I don't know Windows 8 but a Windows search will find it. I am not sure about this but I think "Internet Options" is mainly designed to work with Internet Explorer(Edge?).

Firefox doesn't have zone specific settings like IE has. The default setting should work in all cases unless there are security issues. If you need to modify default settings then check the permissions in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions".

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the Cache and remove the Cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the Cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: 3-bar Menu button/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
