Hello geeks, my os is Linux and as my Ffx updated to 43.0, HTTPS Finder was disabled by the browser as, it says, it's not verified for use in Ffx. But the button remove is not available. More, I tried with Ubuntu Software Center to remove it (USC was the way I installed it some months ago) but it doesn't work. You can imagine my question: how can I get rid of HTTPS Finder?

BUT and MORE: I was thinking it could by wise waiting for a minor Ffx update (some .1, .2 and so on) after which HTTPS Finder might start working again... You never know.

So, what do you think? May I get some help from you? Regards and many thanks from Alberto

Extensions that do not have a "Remove" button are installed by other software and are not under control of the Firefox extension manager.

You can check the extensions.json file in the Firefox profile folder for details about installed extensions. You can open the file in the Scratchpad (Firefox menu button or Tools > Web Developer). Click the "Pretty Print" button to format the file for readability.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
