Hello. Today my firefox changed something in address bar search system. Now the first link it provides is for "popular websites" or your partners no idea but it's annoying as hell. It destroyed all my site search combinations.. When I normally wrote shortcuts like "pwn" "kol" "da" for my websites now the first link provided ask me "do you want to search pwn/kol/da in google? dailymotion?" No ffs I don't want that. If i wanted it I would use the search bar. I was trying to fix it but can't find it in normal options and don't want to play with config on my own. Where can I turn it off? I can't stand it.

Chosen solution

You can set browser.urlbar.unifiedcomplete to false to remove the Visit page suggestion from the location bar drop down list. Note that his is not really a new feature, but it has now been enabled in Firefox 43 by default.

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.
