Why does my Menu button not provide an Add-ons button?

Some of your Help pages have instructions starting, "1. Click the menu button and choose Add-ons. The Add-ons Manager tab will open." My menu button doesn't result in such an option. It has choices such as New Window, New Private Window, Save Page, Print, etc. There's also a "Sign in to Sync" button, a "+ Customize" one, etc.

Hi, please see - Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

If the add-on button isn't in the menu or Additional Tools and Features, click on Restore Defaults.

You can also find it in the menu bar > Tools > Add-ons as mentioned by FredMcD.

Maybe you need to customize your menu. To do so, please read: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/what-happened-to-the-file-edit-and-view-menus

You can also quickly access the add-on menu via Ctrl + Shift + A.

That help page may be out-dated. Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar.

Not sure what you mean. One of the Help pages I quoted from is https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons. Is that not up to date?
