I did all that and it still wont work it says it is not compatable and it was just working okay and do not know what Microsoft did?
Is your Firefox updated? If your not sure, please check it from here: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
I have Firefox 38.05

Note that the Norton Toolbar is a largely useless Application that duplicates features already in Firefox while unnecessarily slowing down Firefox and potentially adding bugs. I'd suggest uninstalling it. It will not impact any protection Norton provides as that runs in the back ground, irrespective of your browser.
The Norton Toolbar is longer in my Firefox as it was somehow deleted and I do not use Firefox that much but when I do I do like having the Norton Tool bar for many reasons ..1 for the safe web search and for the identity safe it has.......
Did you re-install the Norton Toolbar using the directions above?
I went to that page and it did not tell me how to install Norton tool bar and I ran live date and it still wont appear in firefox and only has it disabled
