Never mind. After about an hour of not opening, I clicked on the icon and it opened. Maybe someone can explain that.

In what way did it not open? Was the Firefox icon on the task bar? Did you get any error messages? Did the computer show Firefox as running?

To hopefully answer your question (tho a bit tardily): Firefox wouldn't open when I clicked on the icon on the dashboard of my mac. No error messages, firefox was not running.

A bit of a hassle from just checking out what 'private browsing' is, but I'm back on.
