My husband stupidly accepted all downloads and now he has malware toolbars. I've tried everything I can find to remove them, but can't get rid of them. They do not show up under Control Panel - Uninstall or Firefox - Addons or Firefox - Extensions. I have searched my hard drive for the files that support pages told me to look for, but none of them are there.

I'm on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit with Firefox 37.0.2. I've tried:

1: Running malware, virus, spyware, adware etc. programs. None have found it. These are what I've run:

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free SuperAntispyware Portable Scanner Microsoft Safety Scanner Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller AdwCleaner Spyhunter Hitman Pro

2: I have reset firefox.

3: I ran Adblock, NoScript, and started Firefox in Safe Mode. None help.

4: I did a search here and did all the steps in each article. None of helped.

I've tried so many things that I can't even remember them all. I've attached a screenshot of the malignant toolbars.

Can anyone help?

Hi, I see 'clicks.beep etc.' but that isn't a toolbar, it's a bookmark on the Bookmarks Toolbar. If you don't want it - or others, just right click > Delete.

Hi, I don't see malware toolbars in your screenshot. All I see is the Firefox Title Bar, Menu Bar and Bookmarks Toolbar. You can control which of these that you see by: Open the 3-bar menu > Customize, and at the bottom, click on Title Bar to turn it off, or click on Show/Hide Toolbars, and uncheck/untick as you wish, then Exit Customize to save the settings.

If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you.

The following malicious toolbars are under the location bar. They are not under customize:

1: clicks.beeps.yahoo.com 2: yakkityyaks.com 3: pornmd

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac:<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions.

Check them to make sure you know what they are and what they do.

Check the programs that are on your computer

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Go thru the list. If you find something that you don't know what it is, use a web search.
