can not login to ebay, all othere sites are ok. i can access with my ipad

3 days ago i have failed to accesses my eBay account, i get the first screen then it just goes on a long search with no result or if i am lucky a disjointed eBay page, yahoo mail and auctavia + many more all OK, i have refreshed Firefox deleted it and loaded again i have also cleared all cookies on my website but still can not get into eBay. i use this as a seller and am now working of my i pad witch is has restricted E bay use

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
