Are you using AdBlock Plus? Click on it and uncheck "disable everywhere". If that doesn't work, go to about:addons and make sure the addon is enabled.

Adblock Plus shows as disabled in the System Details list, so you will have to enable the extension in "Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions"
