I would like to be able to click the little fire icon on an email in my "list of emails" window to Mark as Spam, then have Thunderbird automatically move it to my Bulk folder after that.

I looked to see if I could set up a filter to do that, but don't see "Marked as Spam" as one of the selection criteria.

Is there a setting to accomplish what I'm looking for?

Hi guys. I have a problem with the program, I'm not receiving anything from anyone, and also when I send messages, I got this message : "Your message was sent but a copy was not placed in your sent folder (Sent Mail) due to network or file access errors." My account is on google, and I've been using tunderbird since 2017y. Any solution for this?

I am using Thunderbird 128.5.2esr, Win 11. My screen resolution is 1600 x 900, when using for example Message filters I cannot see all all of the image to allow me to accept what I have done. The buttons are off screen and cannot be accessed. If I change to 1920 x 1080 everything is accessible.

Any suggestions other than change my screen resolution.

Thunderbird continues to delete my trash and inbox emails. I have tried multiple times to adjust the settings through those individual folders, but it does not seem to work. I've tried going to Tools>Account Settings>Synchronization & Storage>Disc Space where I changed the setting to never delete. Unfortunately, the SAVE box does not show on my screen so I'm assuming that is the problem. How do I get the SAVE box to show so I can save my settings.

Od dłuższego czasu nie dochodzą do nas wiadomości mailowe po wyłączeniu komputer. Gdy następnego dnia włączamy pocztę nie ma nowych wiadomości (chociaż wiemy, że do nas przychodzą). Są też takie sytuacje, że poczta z tymi samymi danymi logowania działa na 2 komputerach i na 1 stanowisku dochodzą maile a na 2 stanowisku nie. Co w tej sytuacji zrobić?

My trash account is auto-deleting messages over 30 days old. I WANT TO STOP THIS, I only want to delete what ***I*** want to delete. The setting on my trash folder is set to "don't delete any message", yet IT IS STILL DOING THIS!!!

I am thinking it may be that my messages are staying on the global server, and only shows what is saved there? In previous versions there was a setting for downloading and removing messages from the domain server, and it would store them on my HD. However, I cannot find any such setting now.

In any event I NEED to keep my old messages and do not want to create another folder just for that purpose. (Half the time I don't know what I need until the actual need arises, upon which time I can search for it and find it.) Can someone please help??

Currently using Thunderbird 128.5.2esr (64bit) on Win10, I can no longer print the imported holiday events. They show on my screen, but will not print. This has just recently come up (within the last month). I have always been able to print all events up till now. I have checked the settings and nothing else has changed that I can find.

I'm installing Thunderbird in a new computer and want to add "Subject", "Correspondents", "Date" and "Size" columns for the Inbox. How can I do that?

I read somewhere that "Columns" is listed under "View" but it's not.

The narrow vertical scroll bar in the message pane is painful to use. And it has no down-arrow at the bottom. This is a recent development. I'm using 128.5.2esr (32-bit) on windows 10, on a desktop PC. Is there a solution? Thanks

The email inbox can only show about 1 year email. I have check from mail server have 5000+ email in the account but Thunderbird can only show about 2000+. Confirmed the setting is not default setting, no email will be delete.

I keep getting pop up notifications on my Windows 11 laptop that "Thunderbird is downloading from my S23" , files like desktop.ini ,and often get popups that say "Download failed from S23" and 1) I didn't know that Thunderbird downloads files directly from my phone to my laptop and 2) I don't find anything in Thunderbird Settings to stop this anomalous behavior. This is new to me after 15 years of using Thunderbird.

One of the pop ups says "Learn more in Settings > Automatic file downloads." but I don't see that anywhere.

This must be easy, but IDK what todo to stop Thunderbird from doing this through my phone.

Thunderbird keeps crashing on startup with msg: Crashed Thread: 4 Breakpad ExceptionHandler

So, it looks like the the app "signature" is corrupted. How do I remove signature and and correct for valid signature. Thanks.

Is there is a way to remove the icon for the set "columns to display" since that can be accessed by context menu. And is there a way to resize just that row? Not the emails but just the from,size,attachments...etc row?
