Hi,

If I visit the same webpage twice in the Firefox browser, Firefox no longer shows the first webpage visit in the Library > History window. In this window, I would like for Firefox to show all visits to a webpage. In this case it should show both the first and second visits to the webpage, with timestamps to indicate the times of each visit.

Is there any configuration that I can make to Firefox that can achieve this?

My Firefox browser is updated to the most recent version. I've previously used ProtonVPN and I've never had any problems. As soon as I updated Firefox, however; there are connectivity issues and pages won't load. I've tested with other web browsers and are able to load pages there while they simultaneously won't load in Firefox. I've tried deleting ProtonVPN and re-installing, but that didn't work either. I reached out to Proton about this and they are looking into it from their end to see if there is a solution, but I'm pretty confident it has something to do with Firefox as other browsers are working as they should be.

I like using Firefox but it is increasingly becoming incompatible with more and more websites. There is nothing wrong with the websites, I can login using Google Chrome just fine. Firefox simply won't allow me to login to certain websites that I was able to access using Firefox before. Anyone know why this is happening?

I have not noticed this before upgrading my Mac to Sequoia 15.0, using latest Firefox browser update, but "printing to PDF" which I used in the past extensively, makes a PDF file that causes the letters to be one ASCII number off. So if I type into the "search" field "p", then all the "o's" are highlighted. I can only enter a search term if I usean "ASCII number +1" technique, so I can search for "get" by typing in "fds". Numbers are searched for as in the past. This is not happening if I make a PDF using my Safari browser, all the PDF words are correct and searchable as in the past. Anyone have insights as to why this might be occurring? I will try restarting in "safe" mode and re-downloading Firefox as is suggested in some of the articles here. Thanks!

For the past few days now I've been getting a PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when I try to use certain websites such as Reddit or Tumblr. The problem occurs on both my PC and mobile when using Firefox. I can access the websites just fine using other browsers.

I've tried the solutions listed here: https://appuals.com/pr-end-of-file-error/

But none of them have worked. I've also tried renaming the 'cert9.db' file in my profile folder, but that hasn't worked either.

I make invoices for work and need to enter a dozen addresses every day. For every one of them Firefox pops up and asks if I want to update my address. No. I never do. I have the "Save and fill addresses" box ticked off, I've tried with it ticked on as well. How do I block this box from ever showing up? If I ever move I'll update it manually. This used to not be a problem but it just started happening recently.

I use Firefox on my Mac Mini. For some unknown reason, when my Firefox home page has changed from opening as a full screen view to a small box in the upper right part of my screen. Then I have to change it to the full screen view. I would like to find out how to get it changed back to always opening with a full screen view, please. Also, why is there no customer service phone number posted? Some of us prefer phone support, rather than typing questions and hoping someone knows the answer and takes time to respond.

For a credit card field, my card options show up. When I choose one it fills, but when I hit enter or tab, the filled info disappears.

I'm having trouble with some websites not loading, or only partially loading (ie. videos not working on FaceBook). I close and restart Firefox which sometimes helps, but certain websites are just not working.

If I want to edit a URL or type one in or just use the address bar as a search bar, the field converts to a light blue highlight as soon as I click on it. I am no longer able to see what I am typing or to check what is there. No type shows up at all, even if I highlight it, though I know it is there.

The first screenshot shows what I see as soon as I click on that field. Before clicking, I will see the URL.

The second screenshot shows what happens when I try this on a new page without a URL already in the bar. After a few characters, what I'm typing appears in a little popup right below the address bar. I assume this is normal. But if I want to see or revise a URL, I am not able to see it in order to do so.

I can’t figure out how to fix this! Any ideas?

So, my firefox is now starting to malfunction since i tried loggin in back, changed by passowrd, tried again and still couldnt't sign in fully. Is it a bug or a glitch, and is there any way to fix it?

For many years, I have paid my telephone bill on-line using Firefox. Suddenly, I can on longer access <frontier.com> using Firefox. Chrome works find using the very same URL. But once inside the home page for Frontier, I can no longer login using Firefox. Grateful for any help. Thanks Email removed for privacy reasons

I did a clean Windows reinstall on my computer and I forgot Mozilla account password, so I asked a password reset. It went fine, but my bookmarks and password were not syncing. I thought sync server is slow or similar, but nothing happened after 2-3 hours.

I searched on Google and found that a password reset deletes everything.

Developers! Are you f*cking serious if you don't warn the users when they are doing password reset if that will delete everything?????? I f*cking can't believe that!

I lost hundreds of passwords and bookmarks. That is f*cking insane!

no one can hear me in google meet (google's video chat website) on firefox only. I dont have this issue on chrome or safari or zoom. so its not the microphone. It's firefox. I had this same issue months ago and i reported it a few times and it was eventually fixed. and i dont know who fixed or how it was fixed. I've tried everyone's suggestions from New Profile, to disabling extensions. Nothing is working. If the issue isnt happening on safari or chrome or zoom, the issue has to be firefox. I'm using a 128gb Mac Studio M2 Ultra. Sonoma 14.6.1. Firefox 130.0.1 (64-bit). I wanted to test if the firefox issue was just with my desktop computer, so I went to my macbook pro this morning and went to https://meet.google.com/ and the website refused to load and just gave me 404 errors. See attached screenshot. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS, THIS HAS PERSISTED FOR AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS NOW.

I can't find sometimes very important replies to my emails because they are filed not in the chronological order in which they arrive in my computer but are connected in the group of the original Subject. How can I change that? Thank you. info@rebel.gr PS. I use Win11

I am writing about a unwanted window behavior that I encounter on KDE using Debian 12. When Firefox is half- or quarter-tiled to the screen, the tiling is undone each you click on the upper edge of the window.

Steps to reproduce: 1. Tile the Firefox window to one half of the screen 2. Hover the mouse over the upper edge of the window. The resize vertically icon appears. 3. Click to resize the window

Encountered behavior: The window goes back to the size and position it was before tiling the window.

Expected behavior: The window remains in place.

One additional behavior I discovered while writing this message is that: If you maintain the click and hover the mouse down, the window (which jumped to its previous size and position) returns to the tiled position and follows the resize movement (as intended).

I usually intend to switch to another tab when I trigger this behavior. I hover my mouse all the way up on my screen on (well, actually above), the tab I want to navigate to and click. While I agree that it takes is not to hover the mouse all the way up, it is very irritating that window jumps to another position so easily.

Other applications on KDE do not show this behavior. Therefore I assume this behavior is specific to Firefox. Furthermore when the window is maximized, this behavior doesn't occur (because these is no resize action available in that case).

My computer died. Luckily I had all my Firefox passwords, favourites etc synced with my account. I got my wife's old computer, fired up and logged into Firefox expecting it to sync all of the data from my account onto this new computer, but, it seems to have now backed up all the data from my wife's computer and overwritten mine. Is there any way I can recover all of my original stuff please?

When i try to install firefox in userprofile silent i get the UAC prompt to enter admin password i usually have to cancel it for the installation to proceed. How can we suppress the UAC prompt to install firefox as normal user in userprofile
