You installed without my permission the Microsoft web app. That is spyware that has cost you this user. I will uninstall Firefox, tell everyone I know what you 'security-minded' liars are really doing to us. I belong to a gaming club with hundreds of members and by tonight they will all know not to trust Firefox. You really have some nerve teaming up with that nasty organization. Before this day is out all my contacts on all my social media sites will know what you are doing. I have a $3,000 rig that you jeopardized.

I have been using your browsers for years. No longer. Any time I can bad mouth you I will. You can take that to the bank.

How do I make "other bookmarks" show up on the bookmarks menu? (Not the toolbar, thanks).

Basically for me, the bookmarks toolbar is just too much valuable real estate in the window. I keep it turned off. Until a year or two ago I could access "other bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu -- in fact I still can at my wife's home computer. (Oddly, she keeps the bookmarks toolbar turned on, so if I needed to get to other bookmarks at home it wouldn't be much trouble anyway.) I've hunted around on the internet and found nothing but advice on how to use "other bookmarks" on the toolbar, which is what I'm trying to avoid. A helpful AI (hahahahaha) suggested that turning the "OB" off on the toolbar would leave me "still" able to access them on the menu, but that didn't change anything on the menu.

When I select text on my Fiverr account, it automatically reads the text aloud. This only happens on Fiverr. For example, when I click on the Fiverr Inbox, it says “Inbox” aloud. I want to disable/block this audio feature. Could you please help me turn it off?**

I run normal firefox on linux. Fully up-to-date. Every time I quit the app, it reverts to a version of my profile from a month ago, and loads all the tabs I had open then, and then receives all the tabs that I sent to the device in the interim (~1 month). As I speak, it just caught the 60 or 70 tabs in this window.

I tried changing the name of my profile folder to randomstring.defaultOLD and changed one of the backups to randomstring.default. This didn't change the behavior. I'm still stuck in the loop. I saved my tabs with onetab, because firefox isn't remembering my session anymore. I thought it was something to do with updates, like it only loses its mind upon updates, but that's not true. It thinks it's updating firefox EVERY TIME, because the one time it's loading to 1 month ago it was updating, but I'm 100% sure there are no updates to firefox in my linux. It's just hallucinating.

The articles on restoring from backup are outdated. They say to use an html file. There is no html file. It's just folders for profiles, not html files. HELP!

My bookmarks have not appeared . I have wasted 12 hours x 2 days and followed your instructions . I have not been able to find my bookmarks . I have noticed this is a common and chronic problem with many users . After donating money for years this is very diisappointing.

My Bookmarks (> 100) suddenly became corrupted yesterday while I was browsing. They don't go to anything that they are supposed to. There is no backup profile listed to recover. What do i do short of manually typing in all those bookmarks? Windows 11, No edge but I can use Chrome

I asked a question about how to sync my new laptop with the one on this old laptop (Windows 10) The problem I had is that the codes Mozilla sent to my email. That email is so slow that by the time I receive it, it already expired. This is the answer I got from a robot: One thing you could try is logging in to your email via a browser instead of the email app which could speed up the time it takes for you to get the email. Another solution is to manually copy the profile on your old computer putting it on a usb stick and the opening it on your new computer.

1. I always log onto my email via Firefox browser, and it still does not arrive before the code expires. 2. I went into my profile a clicked on "Copy Profile." Firefox copied my profile and asked me to rename it. I did that. Now there are two copies of my profile -- the original and the renamed one -- but my question now is: How do I copy it onto an USB drive? or how to "manually" copy my profile?

I am unable to press new tab or even use Command T to open a new Tab. The New Tab button seems greyed out as if I've hit the limit for tabs, but I don't have too many tabs open. Not even the keyboard shortcut is working which quite surprising. I am able to create new tabs if I open a new window, so I am not completely unable to create new tabs, but i was just curious as to why this might be happening to my current window.

I have linux LMSDE7 Mint, Firefox will not sync. I click on the 3 top right corner lines, sign into Mozzilla, the bookmarks have not synced. Then if I go back to the same lines, it has still the "sign in" field, clicking has no reaction. It seems that mozilla is not signing in I have an other linux version, winux, there I have no problems, it syncs ok.

after the new version of firefox update my home page which i have always had Newsmax.com does not load says problem loading page i have tried several times and it will not load. it works in Google chrome so why not in Firefox
