A credit union has changed everything they had to login and use their website. I have to call every time I want to pay a bill ,so they can turn something on, or off, showing I am using a computer I have used in the past. It is their security. I was told that, in order for them to recognize my computer I have to turn off, uncheck the box saying to clear my history when I close my browser. I can no longer clear my history or cache if I want to use my bank. There has to be somewhere, to place them in the privacy and security setting so this does not delete what has to be kept in order to have my PC recognized by the worst IT department at any bank, so I don't have make transactions, only during bank hours, and wait 30 minutes on the phone to get this turned off. What instructions can you send me to stop JUST that credit union from being cleared on my History and Cache?

When I read a thread and then it shows comments I can't read them on Mozilla anymore

I went to Google Chrome and I can read them so its something with my browser

Whenever I try to log into my Eset Password Manager it says unable to log in offline. Yet Eset password manager works on other browsers. I have refresh the browser and removed and re add the Eset extension.

I am using a new Windows 11 computer. I use Firefox for almost everything. But it opens many processes and it very quickly gets to the point where anything I do causes a hang. If I am listening to music or a podcast it pauses and buzzes. This AM I turned on the computer and opened Firefox, without reopening an old session. I had open two windows with two tabs in each window. Using Windows Task Manager I determined that Firefox has twenty-one processes open. Some of them have the efficiency leaf and some do not. I do not use an Add-On manager, but use MalWareBytes for a VPN and protection. Please help.

I just today upgraded to Windows 11 using the save apps and files option. Now I notice several times that Firefox occasionally crashes to a white, then black screen which requires me to log back into my windows account. Is this a known issue?

I'm trying to write a date (specifically tomorrow's) in a PDF. Whenever I enter it, I get this error message telling me to use the wrong date format. Why does my browser have the authority to override my decisions in this way?

I have a fresh installation of xubuntu 24.04, with firefox 135.0. Middle clicking on links now does nothing, whereas earlier it opened the link in a new tab. browser.tabs.opentabfor.middleclick is set to true.

For the past 2 months I've found it very difficult to sign into my Hotmail account using Firefox. Microsoft keep telling me to use a VPN or another device. I like answering emails on my computer because of its large screen. I've tried signing in about 2000 times now. I downloaded Firefox not too long ago to combat the fact the Microsoft Edge wasn't working correctly, but ever since I downloaded Firefox it's been making my computer run really slow on the browser. Things are often slow like scrolling up on and down pages websites like Pinterest, and the text when typing on Google docs takes a moment to show up after I've typed it and not instantly, for example.

I checked my computer's task manager because I recently cleaned the laptop, thinking that something else was causing it to be slow, but it isn't. I don't have many processes open on the computer mainly mandatory things and my browser, since I use my laptop mainly for school work, music, or writing. Firefox opens multiple processes, the highest being 21 at one time, and takes up most of the memory on the laptop. Is this normal? Because it takes 1,094.0 MB and keeps my laptop's memory at 90-91%. If it isn't normal, how can I reduce this as well as the lag on my laptop when Firefox is open?

It seems that since the Version 141.0 update, initial startup of FF seems to take ve-e-e-ery long (approx 3-4 minutes).

The startup time/lag seems almost the same as it takes to restart after an update.

Anyone else experience this also? Thanks.

I have an account at the EU webgate portal and when I try to open the login screen I get a blank screen, when I try to open it from Firefox on OpenIndiana. Of course, there is no problem when I try to open this page when using Firefox in Windows or Android. The interesting thing is that when I enter the following words to google search

EU webgate login

the first result is the following one

EU Login - server inaccessibility - European Commission

However, when I try the same thing suing Firefox in my smartphone the first result is

My account on EU Login

I really do not understand what is going on! Can you please help me solve this problem?

I have spent the last two hours trying to get my Bookmarks amd history back. I am exhausted and very worried. Firsty I tried going through the Menu, but there is no list of backups there. and there is no history, either!

Then I tried looking in about:profiles - I only have three:

oi853qa9.default, 7sh8b0ii.default-release, and d41afk6n.default-release-1. Only the first one of these contains any bookmark files.

Ideally, I would like to restore the most recent of these, or the second most recent, if the newest one is corrupted in some way. However I cannot find a way to do that from the information I have seen tonight. I hope you will be able to help me out,

I cannot display Amazon Deals properly that contain multiple he products. The home page and single products display normally. should be. A page with multiple products has large blank areas where the product should be. If I move the mouse over these spots, a soundless video will often display.

My clearing of the temporary cache files did not help. Stopping Ghostery doesn't help either. Other add-ons include Last Pass, Honey, Review Meta and Facebook Fences.

My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are Bookmarks 2025-07-22.JSON. They worked well on my older Dell computer. I bought a new Dell desktop computer. I am disgusted with Google. My bookmarks on my C Drive. If you can't help me reload those bookmarks, I may as well decide to delete Firefox and use another such as Total Browser. I certainly hope you will help me load 2025-07-22.JSON on my new computer - it is ridiculous that Firefox wants to put in the full address on the C Drive instead of simply loading those. On Firefox on my last computer I used News which was bookmarked Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Salem News Channel, God's World News, One America News, Washington Times, New York Sun, and local Sterling Virginia Weather. I also use biography sites https://www.Worldhistory.org and Britannica.com [both of which I pay for monthly, as https://www.wikipedia.org/.
