Hello! I updated FLOORP on the 5th May, FLOORP crashed and then Brave, Firefox, Waterfox, LibreWolf and Vivaldi started crashing. I had Brave and Vivaldi open when I launched FLOORP and FLOORP asked consent to update itself and after updating, it did not open in “previous session” and I could not open “previous session” through History. When I launched “Settings” from menu, “previous session” opened! I had pinned “Settings” earlier.

Now the bizarre happens; suddenly LibreWolf launches by itself also without “previous session” and open tabs in Brave and Vivaldi disappear to single New Tab. After some tinkering, I was able to restore “previous session” in LibreWolf, Brave and Vivaldi.

Now I close all browsers and open Firefox, no “previous session” and some random windows in its history, opening these random windows also opened “previous session”! 🙄But then Waterfox launches also without “previous session”, here clicking on OneTab extension recovered “previous session”.

Cutting short; I uninstalled, Waterfox, LibreWolf and FLOORP, this did not help, I ran System Restore twice to two different points and it has not resolved the issue.

There is an email app provided by xiaomi on my phone.What in the email sent by this app contains a special format of `Date` fields.It looks like that: `Date: Thu, 2 May 2024 05:55:12 UTC` It doesn't look like others' `Date: Thu, 2 May 2024 06:05:15 +0000` or `Date: Thu, 2 May 2024 10:35:14 +0800 (CST)`

but it is still conforming to standards (or is it only parsable by the JavaScript Date method?)

After I modified windows time zone and restarted thunderbird. all emails changed time so this is not a time zone problem.

But this email shown two different times in the preview and detailed pages at this moment.

So can anyone tell me if this is a bug? Thank you.

I experienced problems with Firefox on different Windows 10 clients. The problems are only with Firefox, other browser like Chrome or Edge have no issues. The occasional issues are that Firefox loads the websites either very slow (~ 30 to 60 seconds) or sometimes not at all. At the same time, other browsers like Chrome or Edge load the same websites fast and reliably.

All affected clients have a fully patched Windows 10 with the latest build, up-to-date Firefox versions, recent processors and plenty of RAM and I periodically clean cookies/website-data/cache/history.

What could be the problem and the solution?

Hi, starting with Thunderbird 126.b02 (al least) there are very heavy perfoming issues. Beyond crashes it takes approximatly 10 seconds to open a specific email. Moving to another account is much more difficult: taking itself a much of time it takes supplemental time to open the INBOX.

Despite an Raphael on-dice-graphics I'm running a discrete Radeon RX 6700XT. HDD is far away from being over-lastet or running out of memory

The webcam video image is being reversed or being flipped horizontally when using the latest version of Firefox. This is not happening in other browsers. I reset Firefox, but the issue still occurs. Can you advise/fix please?

Sometimes a box pops up on the screen that asks if I want to block or allow something. Sometimes I have no interest in doing either, and just want the damned dialog out of my face. The page seems to work otherwise, but the stupid browser keeps the dialog over top of things, and clicking outside of it, and hitting Esc, don't make it go away. I think those actions used to work, and I think there, sensibly, used to be a dismiss option, but that seems to be absent now. There's no sense to trying to force me to make a decision I don't want to make, and doesn't even need to be made, and I want this thing to cut it out.

The same happens in troubleshoot mode. I also tried reinstalling an older version but the same thing happens. Help me figure out what's wrong so I can read emails. :(

I notice this subject has been mentioned prior, but I cannot find a resolve. Been using Thunderbird for a long time without issues, but last week it stopped sending and receiving emails through the Skymesh internet provider. Still sends & receives Hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo, but will not connect to any Skymesh accounts. Have reinstalled/updated, but no change. SMTP timeout and if I change settings I get the 10060 error. Could not even connect to their Webmail page either. If I turn VPN on, then I can access their Webmail page. Rang Skymesh, they poked around and said it was all this end and with Thunderbird. Seems an IP number change via VPN with Opera resolved the Webmail page access, but I cannot do that thru Thunderbird. Running Win 7. Anyone ??

Ever since Firefox browser updated, my Home (specifically Shortcuts) has been glitching.

They do not show up, no matter how many rows I add or subtract. Web search and Recent activity still works (to an extent) but Shortcuts? Never again. Please fix it ASAP.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra running latest Android update and latest Firefox update. I set Firefox as my default browser. I have un-installed all updates for Samsung Internet and removed all permissions for it. Disabling it is greyed out. Some apps that I use have links to websites. Too frequently, when I go to one of those links, the intro screen for Samsung Internet opens. Then, when I look at the settings in Firefox it is no longer set as the default. Then I set Firefox to default and go to my phone settings to see that Firefox is selected as the default. If I open the previously mentioned app and choose the web link, Firefox will open. But somewhere along the way, the default changes back to Samsung Internet and it's a vicious circle. I have posted in a Samsung forum but haven't gotten a reply that solved the problem. Please help. I attempt to open Thunderbird in an iMac but the computer says it is already open and only one can be open at a time. I can not find a Thunderbird open on the computer.

When accessing my site (in attachment to avoid indexing), Firefox blocks with a "Possible security risk" interstitial. DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

If I attempt to print many emails at one time (by selecting a group of them from a mailbox), Thunderbird sometimes gets lost in the middle of the job and chooses a random email (not from the selected group or even the same mailbox) and combines many others into the same email and tries to print (leading to a single email showing 200+ pages for that one entry in the print queue and actually composed of many emails put together, but not the ones I selected).

Does not happen if I only select a few emails at a time.

Sounds like an indexing issue with the file that holds all the emails. Perhaps something gets corrupted?

Any suggestions?

Hi. I have this strage problem X writes a mail to "support". "Support" is a distribution list. I receive that mail

I then reply to X. Sender is "support" as it is defined as an Identity under the main mailbox Also there is a rule in that identity to sens a cc copy to support itself (so collegues belonging to list "support" receive a copy)

I then need to send a second email to X, starting from the sent message (as it is a follow up)

So i go under "sent mail", i find the message i sent previously, having from "support" to: X cc "support"

(1) I click reply and i get a message with: - from "support" - to "support" - cc "support"

So "X" has disappeared

(2) Note I have no button "reply to all", but if i right click the masse and the "reply to all", i got a good message with: - from "support" - to "X" - cc "support"

Hope this is clear. Someone can help ? My need is click reply and get result as described at (2) Thank you

I have a problem every time I close thunderbird, a few seconds later at least another two programs start up on their own. Its usually the Whatsapp desktop app or google games. Some times something from Nvidia will pop up.

Thunderbird takes a long time to open?? First it displays a blank page Then blank page marked: loaded Then it opens on the email account I saved the Profiles folder I carefully uninstalled, cleaned and rebooted, then reinstalled the latest version and replaced the Local folder in the new Thunderbird to find all my local folders Version 115.10.2 (64 bits) Win 10 Home 22H2

This isn't the first time this has happened. After each occurrence, I have to completely uninstall the browser and reinstall it from scratch. This means I have to reopen all my tabs, which is very annoying. In Chrome, I have had a large number of tabs open for many years and it works fine.

With Mozilla, something terrible is happening... I have many tabs open in Mozilla, and there comes a moment when, upon launching the browser and opening two or three tabs, Mozilla starts consuming up to 10 gigabytes of RAM. If I open a few more tabs, the browser crashes. I don't need to open 50 or 100 tabs, just 7-8-10 tabs are enough to make the browser crash. Moreover, if I open a new tab and go to google.com, the browser takes a very long time to load, even if it's the second tab.

This problem has happened before. I don't do anything with the browser, just visit sites like YouTube.

Clearing the cache and other recommended actions do not yield positive results. This is very annoying. Mozilla is my first and favorite browser, which I have been using for almost 20 years. I wouldn't want to uninstall Mozilla.

As of Supernova update it would seem, thunderbird is unable to fetch favicons for newly added feeds. They will always display a globe favicon, instead of the respectful favicons.

Worse still, it would seem like removing a feed from the folder doesnt revert it to the folder favicon, but rather keeps the globe!

is there a way to force thunderbird to fetch relevant favicons, or add ones manually?
