i CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO RAISE MY SECURITY SETTINGS SO I DON'T GET SO MUCH SPAM! IT'S USUALLY SEXUALLY RELATED "HOT WOMAN WANTS YOU". IN IE I CAN DO IT EASY
I've been through all of the menus and cannot find a way to set my Security settings so that I don't get so much SPAM! I get several hundred a week, and most are either financial or sexual. It's SO easy on IE! Thanks!

Hi, try installing an ad-blocker, such as - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus
Or https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin
If that doesn't help, it's possible you have picked up some malware that is creating it, so you can try scanning with these free programs , which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- Anti-Rootkit Utility - TDSSKiller
- AdwCleaner (for more info, see this alternate AdwCleaner download page)
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista if you don't already have one. Windows 8/10 have antivirus protection built-in.

Some e-mail providers have an option to sort incoming mail. Check with your provider.
Go here and register for protection for your e-mail and phones; The National Do Not Call Registry
