Firefox not responding to keyboard

Earlier today, I suddenly could not type anything into Firefox (and only Firefox) on Windows 7 64-bit. I could click with my trackball, but as far as Firefox was concerned, I had no keyboard. I restarted Firefox. I checked the permissions on my "temp" directory. I restarted Firefox in "Safe Mode". I restarted Firefox in "Safe Mode + Reset". I deleted the entire Profiles directory and created a new Firefox profile. I completely uninstalled Firefox, including all of my settings, and re-installed it.

Still, Firefox (and only Firefox) does not seem to be aware of anything I do with the keyboard.

I was about to try downgrading to Firefox 21, when -- just like the monster in Monster-A-Go-Go -- the universe blinked, and Firefox recognizes the keyboard again.

Help, I am having a similar problem. I can't get any response when using Firefox. It was working fine and then suddenly won't respond to the keyboard.

Got this problem too since about one month or maybe more. It happens sometimes and stays that way until I restart my system. I'm also on W7-64. To post this I had to write on notes and copy/paste on Mozilla :( The kboard is working for everything except Firefox
