I can receive emails but I can't send emails. It did the same thing a couple days ago and then started working but now I can't send again. Are servers down at Thunderbird?

For a triad.rr.com account, the outgoing server should be mail.twc.com, port 587, STARTTLS security, normal password, User Name = email address.

I had this problem as well. Could receive emails but could not send any. The solution that worked for me ?

I turned off my VPN.................
