Firefox not remembering login sessions after restart
Hello,
I’m using Firefox on Windows 11 and I’ve noticed that my saved logins are not being remembered after restarting the browser. Cookies are enabled and “Delete cookies on exit” is turned off.
I’ve also checked:
Enhanced Tracking Protection is set to Standard I’m not using private browsing mode No extensions are actively clearing data
But the issue still persists.
Has anyone faced this before or knows what setting could be causing Firefox to forget sessions?
Thanks.

Sessions are not restored unless you have the separate "restore last windows" option enabled. Without that, sessions get terminated, any only cookies and persistent storage are kept, so it may depend on the sites to decide on keeping you logged in or signing you out.
You can try storing some cookies or data manually and see if they are still there after restarting? Just go to https://setcookie.net/ and fill in just name and value (e.g. just "test" and "test"), submit and it will get set. Now when you reload the page, it should tell you it's been received (and show a "test = test" pair). Now when you restart your browser and open that page, it should still receive the same values.
