Tried to re set my imac password which is also my password for passwords folder this was successful

Then tried to change my primary password but could not as my old primary password not accepted , however my system still shows the primary password as on.

By pressing cancel i have access to all my files.

Do i need to follow the change my primary procedure with all the mess of losing all my saved passwords.

I'm suddenly being asked for "primary password." I put in what I thought it was (from many years ago). Did not work. Unsuccessful at trying to change to a new one because Firefox keeps demanding my "primary" password. This started suddenly yesterday, 10/12/26. What is going on and how can I set a new primary password, or bypass that requirement. I never needed to enter any password before, and this is driving me crazy. Please reply email [redacted email from community support forum], or fix the program so it stops asking for a password and reverts to how it was before . I do not need to write much. My passwords in Google, Microsoft, etc are all in Ibo language (NIGERIA) and no one can decipher it. I have been using them for 15 years, now Mozilla wants me to change it. No, It will never happen. That language is another level of protection. Bye for now.

I saw a msg that my firefox password was charged. Don't know if accidentally done while on Mozilla or changing default back to firefox after brief set on Chrome due to Google saying needed
