I have already posted this question on my hotmail account, but because I am unable to open your helpl ,I am now sending another email account address. Please reply to this. My problem is that while I can see emails on my page I am unable to open them. In other words the little 'hand' doesn't appear. Also as I mentioned, lately when I try to sign out, my mailbox starts to open again. So therefore I just press 'x' to close, which I know is not satisfactory. Maybe I'm still logged on??? Hope you can help. thank you. Joan
