How do I stop automatic updates? It is not broken, so why fix it?

I do NOT require nor want any of the features of Firefox4, nor do I want to receive updates that will change how this version of Firefox that I am using operates.

Click Tools | Options | Advanced and in the Update tab, remove the checkmark from Firefox at the top. See picture here: Update Firefox
