How can I reinstall and save emails in three email accounts?

A hacker got into one of my accounts. All emails to all accounts do not get past the Yahoo and Google servers and I've only been able to restore service through principal account. How can I save my data and correct the compromised settings?

what error messages do you see when Thunderbird attempts to get mail? I actually doubt hacking is involved at this point. It sounds more like a local software firewall issue at this point perhaps associated with an antivirus
