Hyperlinks in emails not working

Hello: Suddenly when I go to click on a hyperlink in the body of an email, nothing happens. (I might see the pinwheel for a few seconds, but that vanishes and nothing is opened).

I am using: Firefox 152.0.5 (64-bit) Windows 10 Roadrunner email through Spectrum

Is this a Firefox issue or an email issue? Thanks in advance for any help!

If you try logging in using a new Private Window, does it exhibit the same?

Can these links be right–clicked to Open in a New Tab if that opens in isolation?

There are some standard troubleshooting steps to eliminate any compatibility and data issues:

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon in the left part of the address bar. If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache.
  3. If it does not help, try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website).
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.

The next steps might be checking in a different version, different browser, and filing a report eventually.
