I have been searching for religious e-mail contacts using Firefox browser and today three boxes are appearing and remaining saying that my laptop has trojans and viruses. the boxes have Mozilla firefox written in the top left corner, and there is a "Dismiss" option at the bottom and clicking on that "Dismiss or the X in the upper right does nothing, and the boxes just return again, and again, and again. They block the history in Firefox and the scroll option. How do I eliminate that virus? Cordially, Ross [edited email from public]

If these are small popups on bottom right corner then this sounds like web push notifications from sites you have allowed to send you notifications. Instead of useful information some may instead send you junk, spam etc. You can revoke the sites from sending you notifications.

Btw this is a public community support forum as nobody here does support by email.
