A user I am servicing uses Firefox every day. They are on Windows 11. Every afternoon (sometimes at other times), Firefox stops working and loses its internet connection (everything else on their computer continues to be connected).  When they close and restart Firefox to reconnect, it then tells me the user that they are using an old profile and need to create a new one.  They're able to re-log into their Firefox account, which eventually resyncs all their data, but they then have to re-sign into everything, which is a major inconvenience.  The only workaround the I have found is to reinstall Firefox, ever time this happens which then allows the user to use all their settings until they have to repeat the process the next day (i.e., everything remains signed in and/or logging back in is easier than described above).

In the last week or so I have noticed that when I go online to to purchase something or just browse for items, my location has altered from UK to Ireland. I wondered if anyone has had the same experience and maybe has an answer to help me.

opened firefox saturday and screen was totally different than what i had. guess it updated, but not returned to my profile. have tried to open my profile and succeeded, but can't get it to come on automatically when i open firefox again. how do i open the profile i want and then keep it opened?

I cannot log into Facebook with my Firefox browser. Even though the username and password are entered correctly, the login freezes and I cannot proceed. I am able to access the site on other devices. On my laptop, I deleted all cookies, history, and cache as recommended. I am able to log in to Instagram on this device. Coincidental to this problem: when I try to view video on newyorktimes.com, the browser freezes. I cannot view content in other open tabs and must reboot the browser.

Warum fordert FF bei Anmeldung in Ebay, Kleinanzeigen immer das PW und anschließend noch eine Bestätigung über mobil Funk. Das war vor 2 bis 3 Wochen nicht, es nervt. Weiterhin werden die Bilder in Ebay kaum noch gezeigt. Sytem Win 11 auf PC

just downloaded the latest Policy Templates in Version 7.7 and installed them in our Central Policy Store. I went through all the settings but cannot find a configuration allowing us to block downloads of eg. executable files .

Even safebrowsing is not included to configure.

Any ideas?

I can't save my tabs & windows anymore, I have the box checked but after I close down the computer I lose all the tabs when I reopen and then I need to put them all back manually. What has gone wrong it always worked before for many years? Please tell me how to fix it

What changed to prevent youtube from working? It worked for as long as I have had your browser and two days ago... all of a sudden it doesn't... just freezes. I've done what you suggested... it didn't work I installed an extension yesterday and it worked yesterday... Now today... not working even with extension

I use Firefox for desktop in Windows, and I use Firefox on Android as well. I have enabled sync and signed into both browsers.

What I want to do is sort through the 50+ tabs that are open on my Android Firefox browser by opening them in my desktop Firefox session.

I am aware that I can open them one-by-one by following this how-to:

However, this is inconvenient: I want to open them *all* in one operation. This way, I can quickly bookmark them read them, and then confidently close all of my tabs in Android. (I have ADHD and this would help me a lot).

Is there an extension or option that would allow me to do that?

Firefox won't load google or youtube. In my gmail spam folder I keep getting emails stating "payment declined cloud storage full".

Firefox not responding. I have tried everything on the Help pages. I have tried reset of everything. I have uninstalled and reinstalled from scratch. Still: when I open it: Firefox does not respond. And everything else also is very slow then. In Windows joblist I can see Firefox with 7-15 threads. One of them "not responding". I have no problems with Chrome nor Edge - W11, 16GB Ram

The recent update changed how the mute button works in Firefox, before it would replace the icon and would show text and whatnot if it was muted or wanted to autoplay; now it just always shows the mute/unmute button in a tab playing audio. This would normally be fine but it is causing my tabs to constantly be shrinking and expanding whenever the audio changes in a tab, and it's really frustrating me and it feels like an overall far worse user interface design than it was before, even if people were complaining about it. Is there some sort of middle ground where I can set a maximum tab size or something? I know this used to be a feature in about:config but it doesn't exist anymore for some reason. I've also tried using a userChrome CSS code for it that I found online; it got rid of the button but it still made the tab size change and the code I tried using for maximum tab size also didn't affect that. Really starting to frustrate me! Please give me any advice I feel like I've exhausted all my options lol

Hello. I have a question about Firefox. I shut down my PC and turned it on two hours later, but Firefox is still displaying page layouts properly, images on pages aren't displaying, and the screen remains blank even when I load a page from a bookmark. How can I fix this? This is the first time I've seen this happen, whether I've restarted or shut down and restarted.

Links keep opening in new windows, and not within new or same tab. Shift key is not stuck and all toggles in the Tabs Opening/Interaction Settings field have been turned off
