Well, I am in a real mess. Three days ago I lost the ability to access my favourite website. I CAN access the website in the Brave browser. The website owner has told me that it is not a problem with my account with them so it must be a Firefox issue. Before this happened I had been trying to move and delete files on my laptop and have got very confused about EVERYTHING. In that I had deleted my Firefox recovery folder(s). I have managed to move them back into my Home folder before they expire. Now I am being asked to enter my "password" to initiate the restore. But the several Firefox passwords in my laptop are not being accepted. How can I get a new password? If that is not possible do I have to delete my Firefox account? What is my best way to recover from this mess? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Our e-mail became slow, and wont open new e-mails. This has been for at least a week. A few days ago our e-mail account stopped working cokmpletely, and when prompted to sign in, it does not recognize our password. I am contacting you via a different e-mail as we have no access to hrttohrt@charter.net, which has been our primary e-mail account in thunderbird for years. What can we do?

   I am already "signed-in" (by Password Mgr.) so can't get
   the Mozilla Account Sign-in Dialog, so don't see a link to
   "Forgot Password"

   So if I "log out", my data will be erased, and I don't know where -
   or if - I have a local copy.  So far, a search hasn't found anything
   or I don't know exactly what to search for.  Catch-22.  If I could
   get back to the login dialog without losing the stored data, I HAVE
   a Recovery Key.

   What can I do?  Please help me, O'Obi Wan Kanobe!

my thunderbird email account is not running, and i am trying to re-load it. i need to sign in to do this with my email address [which i have] and my password [which i don't, not used for years]. how do i get a new password or revive the old one?

I got up this morning and got error codes I can't remember and I NEED MY ACCT so I know details of my move to another address and town or else my whole life is gone.

Dyslexia and brain damage

Just wanted to resest password and move forward the code sent doesn't let me back to the page to enter it. So I waste time trying to find it. Just refresh my account. New phone new deal.

I have forgotten my password and even my username in Thunderbird mail. When I try to get a new password, they send it by email. Since I cannot get into email I do not get the code. I want to completely remove my account from the server so I can start fresh. This takes me to username and email + password. I enter the new details and the server having not deleted my account sends, "Incorrect email or password. This is why I want to delete it completely so I can really start a fresh setup. I am using Ubuntu 2404.

I am frustrated by your constantly asking for my password and in the process your site is just a maze in which nothing is defined in getting a new password in the place of the old one I forgot....
