Having a problem with an ATT POP account. TB stopped getting mail. After a minute and a half or so (wish it would time-out faster), I get a pop-up box in the top right of the screen that states: "Connection to server inbound.att.net timed out" and then quickly goes away.
Deleted passwords and cannot see where to create them again, as it never prompts me for new ones.

I'm running Thunderbird 140.5.0esr (32-bit) on Windows 10 Pro Build 19045. After the last few updates the columns in the email listings are changing widths from what I've set them, this seems to happen after I close then reopen Thunderbird; which I'm having to do more often these days to resolve weird calendar malfunctions. For instance, the data column would appear so narrow that only the month/day show with "..." at the end, when I know I've looked at this yesterday with the full view of the date and time showing. I've reviewed my options and I've set them individually, set them globally and it makes no difference. Of course I've rebooted, etc. I have over a hundred local folders and they all change differently, of course some look the same but others don't. Most have the same column headings selected but it doesn't seem to matter. Some have the "Correspondents" column selected but many don't.
This is very irritating and I'd like to know why Thunderbird is doing this, and more importantly, how can I prevent this behavior in the future. Thanks,

Yes this is the problem when working with Thunderbird’s import of a CSV file, the Match field names option only is allowed on the first attempt. That told me that the source fields and first Record columns did not have useful fields to even try to Match field names. So I went and edited the CSV file to try to get at the Match Field names option but it was not available no matter what I fix or tried. So to me the problem is with Thunderbird’s “ surmising that since I was given the Match field Names screen that I Thunderbird never gives the Match Field names on subsequent attempt. Thunderbird needs to give the Match field Names screen as an option on every attempt not just the 1st attempt.
The below screen was given to me by one of the consultant’s attempt. And you can see that he had a CSV file with the THUNDERBIRD’s preferred CSV options!!!

I have several different local calendars set up in my Thunderbird. I want to unsubscribe to a specific one. When I select "Unsubscribe from Selected Calendar" from the Events and Tasks drop down, the Calendar selected is not the one I want to subscribe from. How do I select the Calendar I want to unsubscribe from prior to selecting that menu option. I have searched through the forums and have found references to opening a Calendar tab and right clicking on the left pane to select a Calendar. When I right click on the Calendar tab, I just get the options to Open in New tab or close the current tab. I'm not understanding something and I'd appreciate any clarification on this step. I am including a screen shot that shows the Unsubscribe screen. The calendar that is selected is my Google calendar, but I don't want to unsubscribe from Google. I want to unsubscribe from a duplicate local calendar. How do I do that?

A fair number of folders in my primary email address's inbox have been out of sorted order for at least several months.
Most of them are folders I access quite often; they now appear AFTER what used to be the last folder ("Zoom").
If this is a "feature," I suggest moving the highest activity folders to the FRONT of the inbox rather than to the BACK.

It is very likely that during the subscription process I made a bad command. But how do I correct this? When I open Thunderbird, I get a pop-up that says "Login to server pop.centurylink.net with username(my email address)@centurylink.net failed" It asks me to enter my password. I enter my password, and I get the same message again. I can access my Centurylink email through webmail, using the same password that Thunderbird refuses to acknowledge, so I am using the correct password. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it, even if they haven't had this problem?
By the way, Thunderbird updated when I opened it a few minutes ago. The problem was already happening before the update and continues to happen since the update, so the version of Thunderbird I'm using doesn't seem to be the problem.
