Firefox untuk Android Forum Sokongan

Currently using Firefox Nightly version 111.0a1 for Android now when trying to open a link in another app it always shows a popup to confirm.

This was not present in previous releases and I don't know if there is a way to prevent this popup as it makes it uncomfortable. Is there an option I may be missing to disable this feature? If not, could an option like this be introduced?

I have followed the directions to change settings for pop-up blocker but when I go to the permissions section of Privacy&Security there is no BLOCK POP-UP WINDOWS with a checked box next to it. So I cannot make exceptions.

Is there a way to allow popups as a whole or from specific sites? Some support chats open in a separate window as a popup and I cannot view them. I have to use a different browser in that situation and I would rather stick to Firefox

Where do I go in settings in order to make Firefox my default app. I went into apps and found Firefox and clicked on it and made it my browser and now it's saying I don't have internet.

In the past few weeks i cannot sign in to my accounts with different vendors like Amazon. A pop up window appears when I click on "Sign In" and the window states, and I quote: "Open in another app

                                                                                                         Would you like to leave Firefox to view this content?"
                                                                                                          Cancel                     Open 

If I click on Cancel it will let me enter the email or phone number in the site pop up box. But, once entered and pressing the continue box, which would normally take you to the password box, it brings up the same window as above. Then it does not matter whether i click on Cancel or Open, it will not give me a password box and will not take me to the site. It presents a page that states We're sorry, The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site. So, I cannot call any Firefox Tech person and get this straightened out. Also today, the website icons I have saved to my home page were greyed out today. I went to Verizon and they determined it was an issue with Firefox since that is how I accessed those sites and used that search engine to save them to the home screen. I decided to reload those one at a time and then erase the greyed out icons. When I got the 3rd one done the other 29 became live again. Not sure what is at issue here but i do need assistance. I'm trying to disable my history from grouping related terms together, but there isn't an option under the Tabs setting for the version I have. I cannot update Firefox through Google Play so I'm pretty sure I have the latest version (10.0.1). Is there a fix for this?

I am sick and tired of Microsoft and their statements like, "Windows 7 is no longer supported". Now Google has joined them with same thing. I do NOT see Firefox doing the same thing. Probably because they are NOT tied to the functionality that Microsoft provides. This paradigm has gone on long enough. What can I do to promote Firefox as the premier Browser for all platforms. For example, instead of syncing my contacts and required to use Google on Android devices. How can we get to the point of being able to use Firefox and ditch Google when I buy an Android phone?

I cannot figure out how to get Firefox to browse to my local website IMPI server maintenance website on my LAN which uses http protocol. I've tried Firefox troubleshoot mode and also setting the https redirect off - which has zero effect. Any ideas would be welcome because I'm locked out of my server IMPI now.

There needs to be an option to close all open tabs when the mobile browser app is closed. It's nonsensical to have tabs reopen when app is restarted. Memory on a phone is precious and shouldn't be consumed in this manner.

I used to be able to change add-on settings from the hamburger menu. Specifically no-script what scripts could run. Now when I select add-ons from the menu it brings me to a list of installed addons but does not allow any add-on settings to be set. I have not yet found another way and has rendered my mobile Firefox useless. What is the new way to adjust add-on settings?

Could you add the option to disable built-in root CA? It would be helpful for us to minimize the risk of MitM attack and other security or privacy threats.

Not all CAs are trustworthy. Some are mismanaged like DigiNotar while some others are malicious like StartCom which was used to perform MitM to intercept communications to Google. However, it would be too late when such events are discovered unless we provide a way to prevent it.

As I know, there are still some CAs out there pose potential threats to security. Some even have got EV treatment.

I can't stand this new homescreen that dumps all your history onto it.

Have you ever been on imgur? Literally just scrolling down the page and it's adding lots of random posts to my home screen.

Who wants a feature that floods your homescreen - where you have your specific shortcuts on - with just loads of junk history.

If I clicked on a story on dailymail.co.uk - i don't need that saving to my home screen?

Firefox said this was a new feature. I said it's carp.

How do I roll back to when Firefox worked better?

I want to see all web pages in desktop view, without having to change the setting for each page I go to. This is an option in other popular browsers. Why not this one?

And please don't tell me why mobile view is better or why I don't really need the feature I'm asking for. I know what I want. And I know exactly why I want it. And I know I'm not the only one who wants it. in July 2021 someone asked for the same thing and Paul replied, "This is something that we are currently working on and hope to include in a future update very soon (it is currently in our Nightly version while it is being tested)." A year and a half later, it's still not available, including (as far as I can see) in the Nightly version. Yet in both instances of this feature being requested, the topic is marked "Solved" and archived. I guess the "solution" is to ignore what users want and force us to use the product in the way you think we should. Very Apple/Google of you!

Between this, no ability to export bookmarks from mobile, and very limited extension support, I'm finding myself ready to give a very bad rating in the play store and switch to another browser.
