Microsoft seems to have interfered with my computer. I have been using it for 10 years using Mozilla Firefox with no problems. Now all my own documents have been frozen and I am unable to make any alterations or continuation of text. I am desperately worried. I am 83 years old and started using computers relatively late in life. I am a complete 'generational novice'. It seems as if Microsoft has had some input. Please help

Firefox's performance keeps getting worse. I have to clear the startup cache several times a day just to get any sort of decent performance! Reinstalling hasn't helped, and disabling add-ons hasn't provided a solution either. Has anyone else experienced this, and/or does anyone have a solution to the problem?

It looks to me like the RT's URL was hacked yesterday. I received a warning from Firefox urging me to go back because of suspected for malware found when I attempted to log into RT. I backed off as suggested. I have successfully logged into RT hundreds of times using without any problem, using my Firefox bookmark. The Firefox warning told me that the suspected malware was due to the fact that https was missing in the address, which is highly irregular for the RT website. The details of the address in the bookmark is https:///www.rt.com, yet when I clicked the enter button, the https had disappeared. RT streams news on Rumble and I successfully used it instead of the RT website.

Later in the day I found information that the RT website could now be used. I tried it using my bookmark. RT opened but there ere changes in the appearance on the page. There was big new banner at the top of the page announcing that I was on RT English. All the images except one were missing and I was unable to access RT news streaming. Today I again checking the bookmark address I have used for a lng time. Today I find the Firefox URL still gives me https://www.rt.com but when I press the enter button the address now changes to https://rt-english.com. When I manually asked Firefox to open rt-english.com, Firefox told me that address does not exist.

This is the best I can do to explain the problem I am encountering, and I need help to resolve the issue. Perhaps other Firefox users have run into the problem and would be grateful for help from Firefox. I am a using Firefox and it is an excellent browser. Thanks for all your good work.

How can I set a different home page for each container tab? It seems the default option is the same 1 home page regardless of which container tab it's in. But if I truly want to separate work vs. home by use of container tabs, then I'd like to default to different home pages.

As soon as I signed into the browser to sync my account, this issue began. I have deleted profile locks, started new profiles, opened in troubleshooting mode, fully reinstalled, and the issue continued (even before signing back in). I am out of troubleshooting steps and would like to avoid blowing my VM away if at all possible. Someone please help!

When I go to the “Prime Video” page on the “amazon.co.jp” website, I can't click on any of the items.

In addition, this issue is affecting Firefox functionality, such as the home icon and refresh icon.

However, closing the “Prime Video” page resolves the issue.

1. Most of my stored passwords in Fire Fox "Passwords" do not work anymore. They do not fill in user name and passwords. They are correctly listed in Passwords and the user names and passwords are correct and can be seen and copied. Also the function "Search in Settings" is not working. Firefox freezes some seconds or some minute after I open the program, I end task and wait to reopen the program, opening up the program it continues to freeze. I've reset firefox multiple times, cleared cache & webdata, completly uninstalled FF and reinstalled it, doesn't solve it. Starting firefox in troubleshooting mode also freezes and hangs. After end tasking firefox multiple times it eventually stops freezing but during the next day when I open the browser the issue returns, The same goes after I reinstalled it after uninstalling it, works for the rest of the day but the next day the issue returns. Background: I switched from chrome to Firefox some months ago and imported webdata from chrome to FF.

I'm experiencing an issue with how Firefox displays date and time input fields on websites when using Hebrew (Israel).

• • Environment:**

- Firefox version: 158.0 (64-bit) - Operating system: Windows - Browser interface language: Hebrew - Regional locale: he-IL

• • The problem:**

Date fields are displayed in the format YYYY.MM.DD (for example, 2026.10.14) instead of DD/MM/YYYY (14/10/2026).

Time fields also sometimes display their components in an incorrect order, apparently due to right-to-left (RTL) handling.

This issue occurs across multiple websites, including the standard HTML date input example on MDN, so it is not specific to any particular website.

• • Troubleshooting already performed:**

1. Verified Windows regional settings: Hebrew (Israel), short date format dd/MM/yyyy, and time format HH:mm. 2. Verified Firefox regional preferences show he-IL. 3. Tested intl.regional_prefs.use_os_locales with both true and false. 4. Tested intl.locale.requested with he,en-US, he-IL,en-US, and he-IL. 5. Changed the preferred website language order to prioritize he-IL. 6. Restarted Firefox after making changes.

Unfortunately, the date issue persists, and the time field display is also inconsistent.

• • Expected behavior:**

Date fields should display DD/MM/YYYY, and time fields should display HH:mm in the correct visual order, while keeping the Firefox interface in Hebrew.

Could you please confirm whether this is a known Firefox bug and whether there is a supported workaround or a planned fix?

With the new FF 157.0.1 (64-bit) it seems the download icon in the toolbar is now purple. I want this back to the old colour but have no idea how to do this. Why was this changed, because the colour hurts my eyes.

BTW .. using FF on Windows 11 (25H2)

I attempted to log into a webinar, which worked fine last week, but this week, after a Firefox update I could not access it.

Perhaps the update altered some settings.
