I have used FF on my laptop for many years and AVG AntiTrack on it for 1-1/2 yr without issue. However, today I got a message that appears to be from AVG (but also includes the FF logo) that their AntiTrack is disabled and I need to add it to FireFox, with a "Resolve" button and NO way to close the message. How do I know if it is true or an attempt to hack me? Have there been any other reports of this happening to others? TIA, KBoDolphin

I'm trying to restore bookmarks after latest update. I get to the Import and Backup dropdown and pick Restore. there is nothing listed. I can go into my "C" Drive and find my "bookmarkbackups" folder and see the files. How can I get it reinstalled?

I'm trying to add the world cup tracker to my home screen, but when i click the link, it just puts me in my new tab page with no changes. When I click the pencil edit icon, widgets are not an option for me. Is there a place I need to enable them?

"whatever" is incomplete 'cause you do not tell us WHERE IT IS LOCATED. Backup" is assumed by you, but no information to set it up! Bottom line.: when Firefox crashes, we [the user] is screwed!!

I have Firefox set to NOT update unless I tell it to. However, it still updates on its own without asking me if it should. So every time Firefox updates, I have to close the app and log back in to everything that I was using. Since, I use browser based software for work and need to open and close tabs pretty much all day. Thus, the ability to NOT update is actually fairly crucial to getting my work done.

Despite having receiving an invite (an email titled-Your Smart Window invitation is waiting) to try the Smart Window, on click, I land on a screen for joining the waitlist.

Wondering if I'm alone facing this or it is just another bug.

Recently the reels in my Facebook newsfeed will be black and not play when clicked on. All workarounds have been tried. These included , Restart machine ( laptop Dell Lattitude E 5530)( I know, ancient. Windows 10) go to settings in Firefox, Privacy and Security then clear cookies and cache. This works, the reels play, until I visit another website, then the issue is back. Simply going to Settings and clearing does not work. The entire flow has to be redone. I had my Internet Security remote control and invesigate. Same thing. We uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled to no avail. Is there any fix for this? Thanks. There are way too many annoying updates and they all need admin login -- which doesn't work. How can I turn these off?

I'm switching browsers until these weekly updates are stopped.

All too frequently, I receive messages as seen on the two enclosed screen dumps. When I click on the "Try again" button, I usually get through to the site I'm trying to reach. But today, I got the other response when attempting to log in to your site. Could that be another version of the usual response to all other sites. Could there be something that is intercepting my requests?

P.S. I access the internet from a Lenovo Ideapad running Windows 11 fully updated.

I used to have a blank space on the tool bar where I could search for new pages or information. Trying to find and reinstall on "Customize the Toolbar" was not successful. I have 13 items on the toolbar, and at times going to the >> would open a space to type my search. Now does not work. What do I need to do to have it back. I have not added more items to the tool bar. This space seems to have disappeared. Thanks in advance for your help to resolve this issue.
