My browser worked fine until a few weeks ago. It then slowed considerably in serving pages. Instead of a few seconds, it would take 30 seconds. It has done this consistently since then. I don't recall installing new extensions. My other browsers work normally at normal page speed. The Windows OS seems to work fine as well.

Can anyone think what might be causing this & how to fix it?

For the last few weeks I cannot use firefox. When I try to sign in to google it asks for my passkey (in my instance my fingerprint) but freezes and I need to restart my MacBook. Whatever I do it keep happening. This is my last chance for a solution before I defect to safari. I have tried on safari and there are no issues.

Firefox crashed and I restarted it and hit "Restore previous session". It started to do that, but then crashed again with a pop-up saying:

firefox.exe - Application Error A breakpoint has been reached. (0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x00007FFE1613B40E.

Click on OK to terminate the program

I clicked on OK. When I tried to restart, all my windows and tabs were not available and the "Restore previous session" button was gray.

Can someone fix this bug?

I think I need to uninstall Firefox and reinstall it. Firefox has stoped working. If I try to login to an account on line, it just spins or does nothing. Can you help?

WebGL2 works fine for several hours but then packs up for no apparent reason. Closing all instances of Firefox browser (not just one tab), and restarting fixes it until the next time. This shouldn’t be necessary, and is becoming annoying as it is too late to save anything. Happens accessing express.co.uk and FlightRadar24.

Hi, mi machine runs Ubuntu Mate 24.04, kernel 6.14.0.29 and Firefox 141.0.3 . Starting from the end of last year, 2024, I get a strange situation: in Google Sheets I can invoke certain functions only in the range 5:00 am to midday, actually I never tried earlier. I asked for help to Google and we realized that the malfunction doesn't appear with Google Chrome browser or Brave. So I'm here to ask for support, how can I fix this?

Amazon (either UK or US) has suddenly stopped loading properly on Firefox - there's no main top menu or header, instead there's a text list down the LHS (see screenshots). This first happened yesterday (14 Sept 2025) and it's still the same today. It works OK on MS Edge, so it looks like the've changed something which Firefox no longer recognises.

Lost all of my bookmarks. Error message reads: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have been a Firefox user for years and years. I am having to leave because I cannot resolve this new issue. Can you help?

Using Firefox--When I try to access the daily set of images that comes in an email representing memories for this day which is pulled from my Onedrive Photos, all I get is a dark blank screen with a subtle pulsing wave as if it is searching.

I get the same thing when I go directly to my OneDrive Photos and try to pull up the daily photos there.

However, changing browsers and using Google Chrome--I can view the images in the memory email as well as those on my OneDrive directly

What does Chrome do that Firefox is not?

I recently had another browser related issue on a different problem trying to register online with Directv which would not complete with Firefox but when I used Google Chrome instead of Firefox, it worked.

This made me wonder if the above OneDrive image problem might be browser issue. Sure enough, it was.

I really prefer Firefox and I do not want to have to go to Chrome.

I keep getting what appears to be notification (of news items?) popping up in the lower right hand corner of my screen. Is this a function of Firefox and if so can I disable it?

I don't remember signing up for Microsoft OR Mozilla. but I've been using Firefox for years. I have Microsoft, which may be barbzap@gmail.com, as I changed it from that to barbzap37@gmail.com years ago, and haven't logged in for years.

When you click the link about someone not trusting Chinese or Russian CA's the page automatically switches the first row of suggested articles and much of the other info (like the thumbs up & down box) to Russian (and it may continue in Russian when you go to another page because it's switching the preferred language choice box).

It's giving the middle finger at those who need info about untrusted CA's and happen to click on it.

The question is from 10 yrs ago but the problem is current.

It can take many closing clicks to get rid of this warning and comes back again after a short while. What should I do? Tried searching with Malwarebytes itself and found no problems. Web search the same.
