How can I prevent the title bar from showing in macOS fullscreen?

I am looking for a way to hide the title bar for Firefox while in Fullscreen mode on macOS. Currently it is quite bothersome when I go to click a tab and the title bar pops in and moves everything down. I often then move my cursor down and try to click on the tab, but by then the title bar hides and causes me to refresh the page or click the address bar.

This issue occurs when I already have 'Title Bar' disabled in my customization settings, which is odd because I expect this setting to hide the title bar entirely.

Chrome handles this nicely, where the Close, Minimize, and Expand/Collpase buttons are kept to the left of the tab bar, even in fullscreen mode. It seems Firefox also attempts this, but for some reason it only does this when it is not in fullscreen mode. It would be nice if firefox could maintain these buttons to the left of the tab bar, and prevent the title bar from showing entirely, when in fullscreen.

It takes almost a minute for my home page to come on after I click on My Firefox icon. That has only started happening in the last week or so. But . . . also . . . when I sign into my email account with my ID and complete password, even though I check the "stay signed in" box, that does not happen. I need to fully sign in each time, and that, too, time-wise is somehow related to the delay in getting my home page up. On several occasions I have gotten a message that Firefox is not responding. Thanks for any help you can give. I have Windows 11.

I get emails, and I can send them but I still get the error message. I have tried to remove and add outlook account, but the result is the same. I do not have 2FA setup on outlook and would like to keep it like that if I can. Is there a way to set this up to not have "Authentication failed message"? Thunderbird is 11.1 Tnx

I tried using the AppUpdatePin policy and can't get it to work. I had never used it before, so I don't know if I missed something, or if there's a specific problem with this version.

I did all my testing with Thunderbird 140.0.1 (ESR): first I change the AppUpdatePin value (HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Mozilla\Thunderbird), then I install Thunderbird, then I launch it and let it check for updates. It always ignores the AppUpdatePin value (tested with : 140.1 / 140.0 / 140.0.1) updates to 140.3!

Any idea?

Why are many Firefox passwords showing the same “last used/updated” date, even for sites I didn’t visit?

I’ve noticed in Firefox Password Manager that a large number of saved logins all show the same “last used/updated” date in the past (e.g. July 2020). This includes websites that I know I did not visit or log into at that time.

I am now in a situation where I’m being accused of attempting to access a site on that specific date, but I strongly believe I did not.

Can anyone clarify whether this behaviour could be explained by something like:

- A Firefox update,

- The installation or update of a browser extension (such as LastPass), or

- A syncing/importing process that might change timestamps for multiple entries at once?

I’ve attached screenshots from Firefox to show how this appears....there are LOTS of sites that have this date on them, not just the one that I am being accused of trying to access.

Any insight into why these “used/updated” dates might change in bulk would be extremely helpful.

For a few days now, synchronization and opening new messages from a Gmail account configured in Thunderbird have been very slow. I use Thunderbird 140.x, which is regularly updated, and the mailbox has been configured for at least 5 years. Only in the last week has the problem emerged, rendering it unusable. Timeout errors and opening a new message after 2-3 minutes. I've cleared the cache, the database, and re-indexed, but nothing has changed. I've deleted and reconfigured my Gmail account, but nothing has changed. My Gmail mailbox is about 45 GB (I've seen much larger ones without losing performance). I tried installing Thunderbird on a new, clean PC, but the same thing. Extremely slow. Google support hasn't found any issues. Do you have any other suggestions for getting Thunderbird back up and running? Thanks.

Checking 6 accounts now takes 12s instead of 2s before recent update?

I was used, for more than 12 years, to just start Thunderbird to check if any new emails, and then close it again if none. - was done in 2s

Now every checked account take like 2s and have to wait 12s to close TB again. - yes, you see three messages every account checked, maybe some want that

I would appreciate a setting to empty/check as fast as possible as before, or this new approach? - a simple checkbox, fast check or not

Or is there a way to revert to earlier versions to restore this? - or some registry or setting elsewhere to alter? It's very inconvenient with this serious delay each check feature?

Hi. I've been having trouble with Firefox.

When I enter a certain website (https://app.helpwise.io/) using my PC, after a few minutes my internet connection gets disabled. When I try to run 'Diagnose Network Problems' in Win11, no issues.

First time this happened, a restart fixed the problem. Second time, a DNS flush fixed it. But after that, those solutions don't work anymore.

I initially thought it was that website (which I use for work) but I tried running that website on my Android phone using Firefox as well and I did not have any connectivity issues.

So, I tried running the website in Chrome - no issues. I did work side by side with Firefox opened as all my bookmarks for work are there, and eventually after a few hours my internet was disconnected again - even though https://app.helpwise.io/ was not opened in Firefox.

I have tried refreshing Firefox, then disabling all extensions and running https://app.helpwise.io/ and still it immediately disabled my internet.

There are some times that it even turned OFF my Avast anti-virus.

I have tried running Avast and Malwarebytes and no virus or malware was detected.

I still want to use Firefox and I'm now thinking of formatting my computer. But when I run Firefox again after formatting, I may have the same issue.

Can anyone help?

Below this option is a button labeled "Closed Groups". If I want to use one of these and check it, the tab I want to assign to it is closed and the group name is not listed in the sidebar. It seems the "Closed Groups" can no longer be used. There is no way to get rid of them and I end up creating duplicates as new tab groups with the same names. I want to either delete the Closed Groups or be able to reuse them. Any solution for this problem?
