I been enjoying the free VPN for days and I liked the fast connection, free and access for many days of uses.

then at middle of use, suddenly VPN stopped working, I looked at setting and noticed it's gone despite the shield icon at top left shows purple dot (likely showing VPN is on). I thought it's visual bug from settings so I get out app, restarted , then opened, still VPN option didn't show up, even the purple dot is gone. Then I updated Firefox android, still same. What happened? I got revoked access to VPN?

I have not added an authentication app, but when I try to log in to my account I keep getting asked to use it. Makes it impossible to log in. How do I log on my account?

I have Firefox as my default browser on my Android phone. But when I try to open certain things it tells me that Chrome is outdated and I need to use Firefox. I'm confused.

Hi! I have an problem with playing music on background. Here's more info: Device & OS: Device: Google Pixel OS: Android Browser: Firefox for Android (Mobile) Description: When playing media via background web players (e.g., Spotify Web, YouTube Music via background play extension), the current track plays fine. However, when the active track finishes, the next track fails to autoplay and enters a paused state. Playback only resumes once the screen is manually woken up / turned on. It appears Firefox is suspending background media execution or aggressively throttling background tabs/workers between track transitions when the OS enters a low-power/sleep state. Steps to Reproduce: Open Firefox Mobile on a Google Pixel device. Load a music player (e.g., Spotify Web or YouTube Music with a background playback extension enabled). Start a playlist and turn off the screen / lock the device. Let the current track finish playing. Expected Result: The next track in the queue should automatically start playing seamlessly in the background with the screen off. Actual Result: Audio stops completely when the track ends. Unlocking or turning on the screen immediately triggers the next track to start playing. Possible Root Cause: Android Doze mode / battery optimization aggressively throttling JS execution, Media Session API events, or Web Audio/HTML5 Audio tags in background tabs during track handoff.

Not safe in account take overs access to account or hacking situations. I noticed a whole page for hackers Ie. Called developers /coders section for advanced users. So an advanced team can go into my account and start changing things adding this and that to suit their needs and I cannot stop them I cannot change back what they have put in because they have done a total take over and no matter how many times I say I have only one device they still allow several different ways to sign in and on nac or Linux and others , so unless I'm advanced and can see these emails messages disapear ing or being alerted I'm clueless what is safe about mozilla ? You tell me that! It is invented for hackers to see what capabilities they can achieve otherwise they would be a section that was not aloud to go into ANY account and change Anything this is a obvious sign where this company stands and even if good people have been successful and protected all it takes is one bad seed to gain all access and destroy many not to mention the additional most recent add on show images as to what you mean

When I search in Startpage.com I get a bar saying the page isn't there or I misspelled the URL. I'm just searching with subject, not putting in a URL to go to. I followed the direction in Mozilla for installing Startpage. In order to find what I need, I have to go directly to Startpage.com to find it. Why is this happening and what do I do about it?

Constant "Address Not Found" for well known major sites: SO Done with Firefox For Android browser app. Even though I've promoted Firefox for years. Also, I strongly dislike not being able to find a HELP CONTACT email address to get a fix for this FREQUENT problem, because I would prefer to avoid taking my persistent (years long) problem with Firefox for Android to the public, or to the Google Play Store Reviews, and I would rather just get a fix for the constant problem, a fix which I am unlikely to get in some Google-like online user community. So much wasted time under Deadlines from authorities. The deadlines, problems, and crises surround me. Exasperated. My old building suite doesn't have the fastest ethernet and wifi. This Firefox For Android problem wastes even more time. Frequently. The SAME site addresses are a piece of cake to visit in any of my cell phone's 3 Google browsers. But I do not believe in Google. Firefox For Android is my preferred default browser. (Usually using DuckDuckGo search engine, inside my Firefox for Android browser.) Help?! 😢

I have tap sounds turned on in Android. Usually, in Firefox, I get a single sound per tap as expected. However, some UI elements cause a double tap to sound, but otherwise function normally:

• Any element of the home bar (e.g. new tab button, tab list, triple dots)
• In the tab list, closing a tab via the X button

This is strange behavior to me.

I’m having an issue with the history in Firefox for Android. After typing in a search term, it doesn't show me results from newest to oldest like it does on PC. How do I set that up?

So I have to say that this mozilla is not safe . Yes there should be tests fun be developers yes gifted collabortors are important but it should be a credential based set up otherwise operated outside of public interactions . Period

As someone who tends to have a lot of tabs open, I am constantly frustrated by trying to scroll through my tabs, only to consistently have tabs accidentally closed because my thumb drifts slightly to one side or the other. I find this 'feature' very annoying. There's an 'x' on the corner of each tab in the all tabs view should I choose to, or want to close one. The only saving grace I have in these situations is the undo prompt when my tabs are inadvertently closed, if I'm quick enough to catch it, or realize that it happened. I would like to disable this 'swipe to close' nonsense though, so that my tabs only get closed when I Want them to be closed. But I can't seem to find a setting for it. Sometimes the page I was using in them loses information, or messes up what I was doing on them due to them being closed and subsequently reloaded. Thank you for any help anyone can offer.

I want to add Firefox as a search engine. But there's not a search engine on your settings. You use Google Bing DuckDuckGo. Why don't you have a search engine that says Firefox? That's my question.
