Firefox for Android Community Forum

I'm sure if I just don't know how to use it correctly or maybe I installed to many extensions that are conflicting but the private browsers won't work. Anybody got idea why this would be.

I've just about given up using this browser as it's become less and less user friendly. I have spent a couple of hours searching the forums and online to find a way to BLOCK webpages from refreshing/reloading in Firefox for Android. Facebook etc.. I've searched geckoview and there is NO option for blocking this feature. the accessibility.blockautorefresh no longer exists and re-entering it does nothing. I've disabled every option possible and it doesn't do it. Battery consumption etc. There are no current extensions add-ons that work. I assume this was done to make the browser more favorable for site monetization but Firefox wasn't supposed to be geared towards that.

If anyone knows of a way to do this please please let me know. Otherwise I'm -><- away from deleting this app and just using Brave.

I cleared data on phone as I was having trouble with sites but when i went to sign in also had problems with password. I did a few and then gave me 15 min wait time, I then tried 2 more and nothing so I hit recover password and all went done hill.

I have 10 years of saved passwords and autofill plus sites saved. I log in old computer now and got some of them but that is 4 yrs old data.

anyway to get it. I just did a phone backup of everything to computer a month ago. I tried to recover app on phone and shows over 400mb of data but doesn't show info.

Hello. I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy s24 Android phone and Smart Switch was used to transfer the data from the old Samsung phone to the new phone. The problem is that my Firefox passwords and bookmarks are missing on my new phone. However, they still exist on the old Android phone. How do I get them over to the new phone? Firefox was last updated on 4/21/25. I have a .csv file on the new phone that came from a different password manager on my desktop if that helps. Thank you so much for your help.

I recently visited France. I'm English and live in UK. Since visiting France, Firefox seems to think I'm still there and search results are in French. I need them in UK English. How can I change to the correct setting?

I get the download failed error every time I attempt to download an image or a link from MSPA Booru.

No other website acts like this and when using other browsers, the download process works for me.

Any tips or things I might be missing about Firefox on Android?

After Updating the App, I always get asked which certificate i wanna choose. This has not been there before everytime i went to cardmarket. I tested on Pc and it´s only on mobile for me. If i choose one of the two or ignore it, it goes away but reloading or closing the Page opens it up again. Is tehre a way to turn this off or get rid of it ? Any Help is apreciated since i couldn´t find anything.
