I cannot get firefox to remember my passwords at all, the box save your passwords comes up, I click save every time, my passwords are set to auto fill but nothing ever gets remembered, any one had the same?

am wondering if you could help in a matter with Firefox, since seems to beg Firefox access problem, apparently due to a new feature in Firefox? I was told to change the policy settings in Firegox about config to show false, which I did. I attached a picture of the pop up I get when I open Firefox, which opens to

It has to do with not being able to access Firefox, when I try to open PG&E, (Pacific Gas & Electric Company), as I usually do. I have searched and found that this is apparently a Firefox issue that is being caused by a new feature being utilized in Firefox. It appears that the issue is NOT a PG&E's problem, but some program in Firefox not being compatible with something in PG&E website. Also with this issue, I can't view videos in the news stories, because of thr privacy pop up, it says to allow advertising, which I don't select, since I have gone into Firefox settings and set the it to don't srll my info. And, btw, I was getting the pop up BEFORE I I changed the don't sell settings in Firefox. I have to copy the URL and paste it into Chrome to see the vidros in the news stories. Is there a work around in Firefox that can be used to access PG&E with Firefox, as I have read in a few forums that we need to ‘allow' Firefox from the PG&E web site, but that can't be done if we can't open it in the browser? Not sure if that info is accurate though. Why would Firefox be using a feature that doesn't allow all web sites, if that is the actual cause? When accessing the bookmarks from the top-right of the menu bar (the three line icon), the bookmarks shown are only the recent ones. Would like to see them all bookmarks there. How do I configure that?

Problems with Thunderbird Nebula corrupting PDF Files continue. When receiving the same email on the same computer in the same place at similar times, Thunderbird randomly corrupts the attachments, while the same email and its attachments are displayed correctly in the Outlook App of Windows and on the phone. Yesterday Thunderbird has downloaded a PDF file which could be opened but some fields in it were shown as blank while they were correctly filled in, today a complete sales Offer in PDF is corrupted and cannot be opened. Fortunately Outlook does not cause this problem. If not fixed , this will become a blocking issue for the use of Thunderbird

On Xubuntu 24.04: In compose, the image file picker stopped working after a recent update to Version 128.3.1esr (64-bit) These images are simple png or jpg from my Pictures Folder. I double checked that all accounts all do allow html composing. The 'Choose File' Button does nothing at all. I was expecting a pop-up file picker.

How do I see the rest of this notification? Nothing happens when I click on it. It happened after I tried to copy some emails from one account to another. MacOS High Sierra, Thunderbird 115.15.0 (64-bit).

I have email at a google workspace email account that I want to relocate to a hosted email account. Is it best to do this through the Profile and if so how? Or just move the emails, and what's the best way to do that, All Mail, or Inbox + folders?

This must have been posted about before but I couldn't find anything. And in fact I asked here over a year ago and no one replied. Odd if I'm the only one with this issue.

For a year and few months now, I think since the recipient dropdown started showing grey on some listed entries and white for others, thunderbird seems to be often selecting contacts based on some weird criteria that doesn't work well at all.

For example if I type in Julie, yes I see Julie down the suggested list at position 3 or 4, but positions 1 2 3 seem to be completely random selections from my contacts. Since this change happened I've been trying to be super careful with trusting the position 1 offering, which used to almost always be what I was after, but yesterday I sent and email to the wrong person because I didn't check.

If this is supposed to be some great new feature of tbird (which in itself is great), can someone tell me how to turn if off?

When I pull up a page and the width is wider than my screen I'm not getting the option to scroll left and right. Can still scroll up down. I'm assuming it's a setting but can't find anything that makes change Thank you, Dan

When an event is imported from an ICS file into the calendar, it frequently includes a Related URL for the event.

For example, an imported event from meetup.com displays the Related URL shown in the attachment.

But I have not so far found any place where I can add a Related URL when creating my own New Events from within thunderbird, other than to add it in the description, which is messy.

Have I missed something, or has Thunderbird really forgotten to provide a field for it?

A couple of updates ago, Thunderbird changed how pop-up notifications work, and I ended up having to turn off all alerts. The issue is that I was getting pop-ups for every email, even if the email came in hours earlier when I wasn’t at my PC. When I returned, I was bombarded with a flood of pop-ups for older emails. I was also receiving two different audio alerts—one from Windows 10 and one from Thunderbird.

I’ve looked through the settings but haven’t found an option to only have pop-ups appear as emails arrive, and not afterward. Is there a fix for this, or was this change intentional?

Each time we open Firefox (ver 128.3.1esr) on our Win Server 2016 & Win 10 machines, we get this error: "Configuration Error: Failed to read the configuration file. Please contact your system administrator.". Anyone know what could be going on? Everything seems to work correctly. We haven't had any problems, but would like to get to the bottom of this error.
