My Windows bar at the bottom of the screen, that shows all of my open programs, won't appear when I move my cursor to the bottom. I have Windows XP 5.1.

This problem just started occurring a few weeks ago. When I minimize an open Firefox window then I see my Windows bar with all my open program tabs. But when the Firefox window is open I can't get the bar to appear when I move my cursor down there.

You may be familiar with Firefox's full screen mode. Pressing F11 switches between full screen view (covers the monitor corner to corner) and regular mode (taskbar should always be visible).

If the Firefox window has become too tall and blocks the task bar, see this thread: Where is the Windows taskbar?
