I cannot open the Contacts folder on the left side of the page which I have always been able to do before by just clicking it.

On the left column of my home page below "Inbox" there is a Contacts folder. It contains all my contacts and, in the past, whenever I clicked on it, or on the Add click, the list comes up and I can add, delete, or change a contact. Today when I click on it, nothing comes up. Its still there because, when I send a new email and type in the first letters of the address, all those with that letter in my Contacts list come up. How do I open the Contacts list. I need to change an email address.

Well, I'm not sure who your Email provider is, so this won't be specific to them.

First, you are running a very old version of Firefox with known security holes and other issues. You should update immediately to Firefox 12.

After you do that, test again. If it still isn't working, i would try reading the article Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should. specifically resetting the page style and clearing the cache. If that still doesn't work, start Firefox up in Safe mode. This temporarily resets Firefox to it's default state so you can test more easily.

My provider email is @bellsouth.net which is now part of AT&T. How do I update to the newer Foxfire?

If you read Update Firefox to the latest release, it has instructions to ensure you are on the correct up to date version :)

Thanks, Tylerdowner. I finally figured it out and I can now get into my Contacts folder.
