Did you try to right click in a text box, or press the menu key to bring up a menu? Under, the undo, cut, copy, paste, and select all, there's an option for "Check Spelling" Make sure that's checked off.

Hi Aaron I have tried right clicking all over the place but it doesn't make any difference. I am unable to locate a "menu" key so I can't press it . The only option i have been able to find is options, advanced general and " check my spelling as I type " the box here is ticked

I note that if I make a mistake here , it is underlined and so it would appear that the checker is actually working but won't work with RBR (Razor Back Railway) and as I said originally there is apparently a conflict between the Authors of IP Board, FKC Editor and Firefox. I just wish they would get their respective heads out of the sand and come to some agreement. With a bit of luck , maybe one of them will read this. But I won't hold my breath Thanks for trying to help. Norm
