New profile requires new account, but when I try to log in with a different account, it tells me the primary email must be used

I have a Firefox/Mozilla account associated with one email address. That is my "original profile." When I try to create a new "personal" profile, and I try to log in with a different email address, it tells me that I have to log in using the primary email for my account. But I cannot do that, because I cannot be logged in to two profiles at the same time using the same account.

How can I create a different account for a different profile? I tried doing so, but it doesn't seem to allow me.

Hi,

That should mean that the email you are trying to enter is already connected to your existing account (as a "secondary email"). The best way would be to use a different, third email to create a new account, but removing that one from your account should also work.

Actually, we have direct one-to-one support for Mozilla accounts (which is different from a peer-to-peer support forum like this one). If you have further trouble, I suggest that you submit a new ticket from this page. Support agents should also be able to look up your account directly and provide more detailed info.

Thanks for your response. I thought that I had already tried removing the secondary email, but I will try that again, and if it doesn't solve the issue, I'll submit a new ticket. Thanks again.
