If Mozilla does not actively monitor the Malwarebytes Browser Guard add on, is my security at risk?
I just purchase Malwarebytes Standard plan to help strengthen the security of my laptop which runs on Windows 11 .After installing the standard plan, Malwarebytes recommended I install, for free, an add-on called Browser Guard for Firefox. However, Mozilla sent a cautionary statement: 'This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing.
Is the Malwarebytes Browser Guard for Firefox safe?

Whether it is a monitored Extension of not, it is a good idea to check out the reviews for the extension. Whenever there is a serious concern about a recent version of a extension like say for privacy, security, malware. breakage in some way or such then people are often pretty vocal about it in the reviews.
Also any concerns that are breaking the extension policies can lead to the the extension update being removed and or blocked or the whole AMO page being removed and extension added to a blacklist. https://extensionworkshop.com/documentation/publish/add-on-policies/
