Since a few days ago, Firefox has been struggling with the likes of youtube, twitch and other streaming videos where the the videos will constantly freeze up, forcing me to use a different browser in order to watch videos.

Nothing has changed (ie I have not added any new extensions), and have also done a flat re-install of Firefox to no avail (as well as trying firefox without the Mozilla VPN on to see if that did anything).

What is the latest version of the browser because when I open a new tab from a previous tab's content onto the new one it just doesnt load for some reason

All of a sudden I cannot save bookmarks. Neither the instruction "To bookmark a page, just click on the star in the address bar." or using the "Bookmark Current tab..." in the Bookmarks menu do anything. Trying either method just sits there and does nothing.

Up until today (3/26) , accessing CompuServe (AOL) mail was not an issue. Now , getting to the site is OK , but when it attempts to access the mail , I get:

To protect your security, compuserve.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window.

What changed overnight? After getting the message , if I click on Mail , it works just fine. There is also a similar message when closing the page , but not every time.

Any clues?

I am a native speaker of simplified Chinese, and I am currently running Firefox 149.0 for Windows desktop. There are some troubling issues and I hope to be able to fix them in the next version. Thank you very much.

The problem I encountered was that at least eight options, all in English, appeared in the browser's privacy and security settings, this has been in Simplified Chinese in previous versions of Firefox.

As a simplified Chinese user and English level of the user, I feel very inconvenient when using, I hope to get your response, thank you!

Hi. I have all the automatic opening of the last session turned on. So for the last two months, when I fired up my PC, all the tabs came back on. That is, until today!

Because I mistakenly clicked "X" when I had private browsing on in other window.

This created error that resulted in blank screen coming in... All my tabs are gone, and they are not in the recent history. How can I bring them back on"? they were just there not 10 minutes ago.

After updated to 149. Tab unloader is totally broken, unloaded tabs won't be discard but hold in shared web processes then reload right away. Extension process ram consumption bloated then cause browser lost response. If it not a hard hung up it would stop loading data from web. And/Or not operate when switch tab. Every action is risking frozen only way to unfreeze is to kill the extension process while risking complete lost of response. Never seen such piece of shit in decades.

Hello Mozilla, Firefox using Duck Duck Go. I am finding that connection to particular addresses within the USA are being returned as unavailable. Trying them over Google Chrome informs me that they are blocked by Google SafeSearch which I am unable to disconnect; Google suggest it's been locked in by the ISP. Is this the same situation with Firefox from the UK? Kind regards. Tim

• Since the last update the "File" menu choice disappeared. I used to use this to share (email) web pages.
• I restored the "File" toolbar eventually and can share with that again. However...
• The right-click menu on the tab Share selection does not work (it shows a list of email apps but does not include mine)
• My default choice (mailto) is properly set up in the Settings (in both Mozilla and Windows) so something is broken in Firefox.
• Adding the Share tool to the toolbar gives the same wrong result... shows a list of programs but does not include the default

The recent update 149.0 introduced a new look to the error pages. Every single time the requested URL does not exist, a page's servers are down, or your internet is turned off, it shows an image of a fox biting a power plug. The image is no-connection.svg located in omni.ja (chrome://global/skin/illustrations/no-connection.svg). Such a location rooted in the files cannot be zapped by uBlock Origin. I tried to replace the image inside omni.ja using 7-zip, but it can't do so because the Mozilla Firefox folder is Read-Only, and keeps turning so despite me unchecking the Read-Only checkbox in properties. I tried looking for a variable in about:config, toggled svg.disabled from false to true, it didn't help. My goal is so that only text appears on error pages, and no images, like it was in the previous update. Ideally I would like to have the option to completely eliminate corporate artwork from my copy of Firefox. Help would be very much appreciated, because Firefox is my favourite browser by far

AirTable.com online app attached documents are downloading when selected to view. Not a problem in 148. Not happening on other browsers.

The icons/shortcuts on my homepage are getting moved around, added to, or deleted despite my having pinned all of the shortcuts that I want. All 4 rows of shortcuts have been filled with my pinned ones. Now Firefox is deleting/moving the last 2 on the lower right and inserting 2 new and irrelevant ones in positions 2 and 3 of the top row. This is annoying and frustrating. Thanks for any help.

Po ostatniej aktualizacji przeglądarki zniknęły wszystkie zakładki. Jestem oburzony i wściekły na to. Macie to natychmiast naprawić a u mnie przywrócić zagubione przez aktualizację zakładki. Wszystkie. Nie będę z wami dyskutować, tym bardziej z sztucznym idiotą.
