seems that after Firefox 150.0.3 (20260511200624). I cant access locally deployed servers that are not secure. the Firefox forces https when hitting http://localhost. I've tried to disable the HTTPS setting altogether. Even in developer mode it still overwrites http to https.

I am getting pop up after pop up using Firefox even though the pop up blocker is on. I am afraid that I need to use a different browser even though I have used Firefox for lots of years. I was especially annoyed that on more than one occasion a pop up happened when I was trying to get on my bank website. The pop up stated that access to my bank account had been blocked and I needed to call a phone number to have it unblocked.

Why is Firefox trying to establish UDP connections with Google IP's every time I open it?

No extensions installed. No homepage (set to blank).

Signing into Netflix it only requires my email address. Then it gives me a message that captcha is required, then gives me an error message, then puts me through to my account. Anyone in the world using your browser and my email address can access my account.

I'm using a HTML file as a hypertext that catalogues a hard drive or folder. I want the file names to be clickable--to open the file, but but the file:/// href is blocked. What is the work around. All of this is local

ie every time I closed it it would reopen- 14 times when I am trying to read my emails yesterday and 6 today. but I thought it was my internet security causing the problem. I kept getting notification that a certain site was attempting to use my system,. The worst thing was it kept flashing on my screen and wouldn't go away, There was no clue who öwned it, my security or Mozilla's. It was finally resolved by contacting my computer guy, but we never identified the source. the site that was being blocked started with pssst.........com, or something similar but it was driving me mad trying to get it off the screen. If this happens again, how do I get rid or stop the continual notifications? Of course I have nothing to show you as I have since deleted it, sorry. as I was just relieved to see it gone.

Hi, I am getting a message about Java being blocked it may be being blocked and it is happening often. I need to be able to turn off what is doing this. So I can see what is on the sites I am trying to use. Thanks Dave

What or who is Certification Manager? I have never heard of 99% of those listed in my settings. Why is this necessary? I would just like to go in there and delete every one of them!

Remove viruses via ...(but I don't have a McAfee account) -McAfee license has expired. Click here to stay protected online? via ....

I have run MalwareBytes (basic free account) and it found nothing.

I started getting a different login screen for yahoo and so I was on the lookout for the https:// that would ensure I'm at a real website. I noticed that I don't get any https:// on anything in my FF esr 140. Even if I enter it with the address, it disappears as soon as I click to open the website. I tried out Edge and the https:// is there. Is there some reason this is being removed in FF, as it is something reassuring and doesn't take up much space.

Also McAffee notification with all these popups stating that my McAffee protection expired yesterday - I have never had a McAffee notification for a virus or pair for protection from them. Popups are happening every 10 seconds continuously! looks like about 20 or more popups describing different problems with 20 digit numbers and letters as a serial number of the problem!

I thought Firefox was all about controlling personal info. Seems not. I find nothing in the GUI to turn off the location country flag in the address bar. I have no care to know where any site is located and neither do I wish anyone to know where I am. Can I remove the location country flag feature in the address bar and be sure nobody sees where I am?
