Scrambled tabs on bootup

more options

Running Linux Mint 22 and FF 138.0.3. Normal practice is to leave 2 or 3 FF windows open on shutdown so the same windows and tabs will re-open on future boot-ups when opening FF. In the last several versions of FF as well as of the OS, those tabs appear on boot but display random text within a random tab for a given window. Also, the highlighted icon in the tray does not match the window that has opened. If I click and re-click the tray icons, they eventually display as expected.

A screenshot showing the issue would be nice. Sounds like a desktop issue. What desktop? X11 or Wayland? Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla. Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release

I always run more than 1 version of Firefox. It keeps my data in more than 1 place in case something goes BOOM!!!
